Can
Can é usado para expressar capacidade, habilidade, possibilidade,
permissão informal e pedido informal:
You can park here. (Você pode estacionar aqui. / Permitido estacionar.)
It can happen to anyone. (Isto pode acontecer com qualquer um.)
She can speak French very well. (Ela sabe falar Francês muito bem.)
We can see the lake from our bedroom. (Do nosso quarto, conseguimos
ver o lago.)
Can I go with you? (Posso ir com você?)
I can't have slept more than one hour! (Não posso ter dormido mais de
uma hora! / Não é possível que eu tenha dormido mais de uma hora!)
It can be dangerous. (Pode ser perigoso.)
Can you help me? (Você pode me ajudar?)
To be able
Can pode ser substituídos por be able to (ser capaz de) quando expressam
sentido de capacidade, habilidade ou possibilidade de fazer algo. Diferentemente
dos demais modal verbs, a expressão be able to se conjuga em todos os
tempos:

Immediate Future
Regra Geral:
Am/Are/Is + going to+verbo
Going to é usado para expressar um futuro próximo, algo
que, com certeza, está prestes a acontecer ou que temos
a intenção de fazer. Na Língua Inglesa, assim como no
Português, pouco usamos o futuro do presente
(consertará, levará, irá, trará, etc), que corresponde ao
Simple Future. Na maioria das vezes damos preferência à
construção vou consertar, vou levar, etc. Essa construção
se faz com o Going to em Inglês.

Going to é usado para: 1.Expressar
intenção de fazeralguma coisa:
I'm goingto eat less to try to lose weight.(Vou comer
menos para tentaremagrecer.)
I'm going to go for a walk. (Vou dar umacaminhada.)

He is going to bean engineer when he grows up.
(Elevai ser engenheiro quandocrescer.)
