Indigenous people, local communities and states argue that this opens up Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions to misappropriation and misuse. Traditional Knowledge includes specific knowledge, skills, innovations and practices etc. Many states mainly the developing states believe that the Traditional Knowledge and the Traditional Cultural Expressions should be protected as a form of intellectual property. For example, indigenous "folk song" can be protected as copyright under intellectual property law. According to Bangladesh Copyright Act 2000 (as amended 2005), the owner of the TK or TCEs can prohibit the stakeholder to apply for copyright. Sometimes people make huge money by selling or using these traditional knowledge and cultural expressions. Bangladesh should take necessary steps by incorporating national legislations and also by applying the TRIPS Agreement to protect traditional knowledge and the traditional cultural expressions.

In South Asia, Bangladesh, India and Nepal are most vulnerable in relation to human trafficking. The international community considered that the human trafficking is a grave violation of human rights. There are many reason for the trafficking including poverty, illiteracy, globalization etc. The main purpose of the human trafficking is the forced labour, debt bondage, child labour and sexual exploitations. There are some international laws which directly prohibits the human trafficking. Geographically Bangladesh located at the heart of the three drug producing regions: In the East of Golden Triangle; In the North of the Golden Wedge; and In the West, across India, the Golden Crescent. Bangladesh is the main transit point for heroin trafficking to Europe from Southeast Asia. Bangladesh is the signatory of all the three U.N conventions on drug abuse and trafficking; and also the signatory of the "SAARC Convention on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, 1990".This paper seeks to address the problems of drug trafficking in Bangladesh and how to eradicate those problems under the domestic legislations and as well as under SAARC Convention on Narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and under other International conventions or by any other way. This paper also discuss on What is the current status of the drug trafficking in Bangladesh? What are causes of drug trafficking in Bangladesh in the context of South Asia? What are the effects of the drug trafficking? and How the SAARC Convention on Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances can be implemented through the domestic laws of Bangladesh? It will also focus on how can drug trafficking be eradicated from Bangladesh?
