Favorite Technique Stenciling Mixed Media Tag



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "USE YOUR FAVORITE TECHNIQUE". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we use products from Dyan Reaveley aka Dylusions. Out guest designer of this month is Rox aka Red Dirt Crafter. I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Spray Bundle and Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil Noteworthy, Nature and Ringer on the background of this #8 tag. I distressed the edges of the tag using Art daubers and outlined the tag using a black pen. 


The tag was decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MiNi and Tim Holtz idea-ology GAUGE FRAMES Embellishments that were colored with Distress Paints. I then added some Tim Holtz stickers to finish this project.

Tag Look At the Night Sky



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "LOOK AT THE NIGHT SKY". 


I was inspired to create a tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Once Upon a Dream on the background, and colored the image with Copic Markers and the background with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 COLOR Set. 


I splattered the white Gesso and water mixture with a brush to create the stars on the background. The final step is to add the sentiments using Tim Holtz idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers and a clip to finish this tag with beautiful night sky.

Watercolor Bookmark Tim Holtz


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "BOOKMARK / BE INSPIRED BY BOOKS". I was inspired to create a bookmark using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps ECLECTIC ADVERTS on the background, then colored it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 COLOR Set and added sentiments with Tim Holtz idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers.


I started this project with trimming the watercolor paper and stamping the image on the bookmark using the black ink pad and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOBLE GENT. The image was colored with Zig watercolors and the water brushes. The final was adding the sentiments with Tim Holtz idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers.

Mixed Media Tag Spritz and Splatter


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPRITZ and SPLATTER". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOBLE GENT on the background, then colored it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 COLOR Set and splattered it with Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome.


To start this project, I trimmed the watercolor paper into a #8 tag and stamped the image on the tag using the black ink pad and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOBLE GENT. The image was colored with Zig watercolors and the water brushes. 


I spritzed and splattered the Distress Paint and water mixture with a brush on the tag. The metal embellishments were glued on the tag. To finish off this project I added some sentiments using Tim Holtz stickers.

Valentine's Day Card Bright and Cheerful


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "BRIGHT and COLORFUL". It’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. The designer of the month is lovely Cassie Lynch. Please visit her blog for a real treat!


I was inspired to create a Valentine's Day card using Simon Says Clear Stamps Lined Heart To Be Loved and Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies To Be Loved. For the card base, I trimmed the watercolor paper into 4.25" X 5.5", and stamped the heart and sentiments on the background using Simon Says Clear Stamps Lined Heart To Be Loved, and black and black ink pads. The heart was colored using Zig watercolors and Spellbinders Water Brush Set 3 Pack.


I die cut a heart with the pink card stock, Big Shot and Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies To Be Loved. The die cut pink card stock was layered and pasted on the card base. To finish off this Bright and Cheerful project, I added with Prima Marketing Floral Splendor In The Moment Flowers and Stamperia Old Lace Stripes Rub Ons. and some metal embellishments on this colorful card.

Mixed Media Tag Have a Heart


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HAVE a HEART". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies and Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips Gratitude. 


To start this project, I created the texture on the tag with Paper Artsy stencil and the modeling paste. I colored the texture on the background of the tag with different colors of Distress Paints. 


I layered the die cut heart and mini paper dolls and pasted them on the tag using double sided foam tapes. To finish off this project, I added some Tim Holtz metal embellishments, die cut sentiments and stickers.
