Mixed Media Art Journal Be Brave

Hello, my friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ART JOURNAL". I was inspired to create a mixed media art journal page with Simon Says Stamp Stencil Rose Trio and Prima Marketing Beautiful Story Cling Stamp on the background, and decorated it with Idea-Ology Stitched Scraps Embellishments and Found Relatives.

I started this project with spraying on the background of the art journal watercolor paper page using Tim Holtz Distress Sprays. The trio rose image was stenciled on the page with different colors of the ink pads. The background was also stamped some images and text prints with Prima Marketing Beautiful Story Cling Stamps. 

I pasted the vintage photo on the art journal page and added the sentiments on the page with Tim Holtz Quote Chip, Idea-Ology Rubs and Quotation Stickers. 

To finish off this project, I attached some stitched scraps and hardware embellishments on this art journal page.

Mixed Media Tag A Day at the Beach

Hello, my crafty friends, welcome back for the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challengewas our theme is "A DAY AT THE BEACH". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Seashell Sketch and decorated it with Prima Marketing Rusty Knnobs Finnabair Mechanicals, Tim Holtz Sizzix Media Marks Thinlits Die and Impression Obession Cling Stamps Life's a Beach.

I started this project with applying a layer of Gesso on this size 8 tag. After it was dried, I spared the Distress Spray with different colors on the tag. The sentiment and the seashell were stamped, heat embossed, then cut and pasted on the tag.  The seashell was colored using Daniel Smith watercolors. 

Some sentiments and text print were added on the background of tag using Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs and Quotation Stickers. 

I die cut the waves using Tim Holtz Sizzix Media Marks Thinlits Die and Big Shot, and pasted it on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. The tag was decorated with some metal embellishments from Tim Holtz   Idea-Ology Factory Tag and Prima Marketing Hardware Accent Finnabair Mechanicals.
