Urban Sketchers Tel Aviv occupating Afula!

Here are some sketches I did at the festival of 3D pavement paintings in Afula, where Urban Sketchers Tel Aviv was invited to take a part during Sukkot holidays. It was really nice event, full of colorful events, challenging, but fun! my first "model" - street artist taking different postures and the audience Hasidic wild dance street musicians-kleizmerim  the view on the bulevard with the 3d painting on the pavement audience watching one of the street artists in action It was really fun, different and in fresh Northen atmosphere!

Revolution on the bar

In a one month we have an elections in Israel, and many politicians trying to get to their potential voters. I sketched at one of the events, called "Revolution on the bar" - meeting with one of the leaders of the block that wants to knock down the ruling party and to bring a new hope to the people here.

Reportage drawing in the City Hall

Last Thursday our local Urban Sketchers group were invited by Tel Aviv municipality to take a part in the event called "One Moment - Art in Not Expected Spaces". For the one night City Hall was "occupied" by various artists - musicians, performers, visual artists; public could watch shows, to participate in workshops, to see exhibition and so on... It was our first official experience of reportage drawing as a group, and it was so fun and challenging! Groups of people came and gone, stopped to see the exhibition, sat down to rest and to hear the music, stood in the lines to the different shows, gathered around performers and so on... Here are what I succeed to "catch". As usual, we put at the end our sketches on the floor - how different was everyone expression from the same event!
