DELICIOUS DOODLES on CHRISTMAS EVE

OMG.... The cute bug finally got me!
The new challenge at DELICIOUS DOODLES is PURPLE REIGN...as its TERI's favourite colour.
I have been wanting to alter this little tree dec for my youngest niece...Olivia...and this was the ideal challenge to do it for..... I used purple and pink paint...BEARS 1ST IMAGE.... the dreaded glitter and diamond glaze.

You have nearly 2weeks to enter this challenge ....so come on guys show us your purple.

12th DAY of THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

Welcome to the last day of the 12days of Christmas.... SMEARED and SMUDGED style.
Today i wanna share with you the best Christmas card EVER!
One of my little girls, they are only 5, made this for me..... no santa...no snow.... no glitter..... although she has put 2 'pearls' on in a very strategic places.......
Isn't it wonderful? Does my girl know me or what?

As i havent made the card myself i thought i'd show you the necklace i have made for my friend Jane.... it matches a bracelet i made for her birthday at the end of november.....

..... its full of 'junk'...... and made my fingers soooooo sore with having to use over 300 head pins and jump rings.

SMEARED INK DT BLOG HOP using TELLENS PLACE IMAGES.

TELLENS PLACE are kindly sponsoring a couple of the challenges this month on the smeared and smudged forum, so we the DT from SMEARED INK are having a blog hop using some of TELLENS PLACE images.

The triptych tag above is one of my favourite makes of the year and is now residing in Holland.

The atc below has the image printed onto canvas then painted...it has great texture close up.

The 'edward with skate board' image was embossed onto metal, then i attached it to the box top..... this presentation box of pens was sent to Markus the artist behind all of these images.

Day 11 of the 12 days of christmas

Welcome to the 10th day...... and today i'm sharing with you 2 gifts i have made and sent out for christmas.
The box i made from scrap thick card..... painted and decorated.
I stamped and coloured the womans face then used 'victorian scrap' to decoupage around it. I made it pretty..... flowers...butterflies.... birds.....

inside is this bracelet..... shades of blue with silver.

The next gift has now stamping..... but i thought i'd share it anyway..... its for a PEPSI MAD friend.

I recycled the 'pepsi' emblems off cans to decorate the box and the bracelet.... and added blue white, red and silver beads to the bracelet too.

I hope the friends i sent these to like them..... but mostly i hope they have arrived!

Welcome to the 10th day of Christmas..... today i have yet another Christmas card to share with you..... just about done with cards now..... THANKFULLY!
I have used a fantastic candle image from DELICIOUS DOODLES..... click on my title to go to the challenge blog..... i coloured it with promarkers and followed the sketh from VERY-SKETCHY challenge on the SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM. I used papers from my stash...a digi greeting from STAMPINSANITY...and a MS punch.

Welcome to day 9..... and its another card today.
I have used the Fae's set again from SMEARED INK..... the link is on my sidebar.
I coloured her with promarkers and added glitter.... i really must be sickening for something! I used 2 dp's from 'we r memorie keepers' siler card and my usual black card stock base.
I have distress all the edges except the silver.

STAMPINSANITY

We have a new challenge for you today at STAMPINSANITY...... HAPPY HOLIDAYS.... easy hey?
I have made 2 gift wallets using 'holiday blessings' sentiment..... i kept them very simple as they are for my 16 yr old niece and 17 yr old nephew...... although i doubt they care as long as there is money in 'em! It would be great if you could join in with us this week..... HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

8TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS.....SMEARED INK STYLE

Welcome to the 8th day of christmas.....today i have 5 gift tags to show you.
I have used the FAE's and JACK rubber stamp sets from SMEARED INK. I have used We are memorie keepers paper/card for the backgrounds, coloured all the images with promarkers.... and have used GLITTER.... shock-horror-amazement! on the faes wings.

I thought i'd show you just 2 in closer detail.... the word 'SURPRIZE' is from the JACK set. I have ink distressed all the edges and used very sparkly ribbon to finish.

Tuesday taggers

We have a new challenge starting today at TUESDAY TAGGERS and its ' THE STOCKINGS WERE HUNG'...... and feel free to run with whatever pops into your head.... i did! Christmas dp's..... distressed and heavily inked.... black card base.... wonderful stamp, from STAMPITCRAZY, the link is on my side bar..... i coloured her with promarkers.... cut here out and attached her with foam pads.... 3 pearly things in opposite corners.... thats all of the outside...
but inside it says ' i know i said to hang the stockings,but i didn't mean whilst matilda was wearing them!'

There is a close up of the image.... i think shes terrific.

7th Day of the 12 DAYS of CHRISTMAS and MACABRE MONDAY

To day is day #7 of the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS and as its monday it has to be MACABRE..... our new challenge is COLOUR BLIND CHRISTMAS...... you must not use any red or green... not even a smidge!
I used pale blue chistmas dp that i distressed... a lot!..... and pretty sheer christmas ribbon that has christmassy words all over it in silver..... but then i used the MS graveyard punch to edge the black card to which i attached the ribbon.
I stamped the little girls face and masked it... i then created a grave yard scene using stamps behind her.... and then over stamped with some branches..... i coloured the picture i created with ink....cut it into a circle and really darked the edges. I stamped 'memeries' down the side of my backing paper, and put 2 pearly hearts on.
Inside it says missing you at christmas......
the story in my head.....? This poor little ghost, all alone at christmas..... SAD hey? Christmas does that to me.

STAMPITCRAZY

We have a new challlenge at STAMPITCRAZY..... with a big BIG PRIZE...$50.00 to spend in the STAMPITCRAZY online store....... the challenge is dead easy..... CHRISTMAS..... but you must use one of Barbs digi images.... not hard is it?
We the DT were given Shelby to work with..... i kept the little goth girl simple for christmas... she reminds me of me.... out of place in all the festivities... i hope you can come and play along this week.

6th Day of Christmas and DELICIOUS DOODLES a day late!

Delicious Doodles has a new challenge.... it actually started yesterday, but me being a little stupid got mixed up... as my posting day on Delicious Doodles DT /customer blog is Saturday..... and well my one brain cell couldnt handle the friday saturday thing this week.... I AM SORRY!
The new challenge is to use 1x IMAGE, 2x DESIGNER PAPERS, and 3x EMBELLIES.
I used the WATCHER ..... coloured with promarkers, distressed all my edges and made a christmas card.... all it needs now is a sentiment. It would be great if you can join in with us this week..... nice easy challenge for you card makers... hope to see what you come up with soon.

Now on to the 6th day of christmas........ i brought this calender that you are supposed to stick your own photos in..... it cost £1.00 from poundland.....

.......anyhow.... i have been keeping my DT pieces from TELLENS PLACE for this project...... Terry this will be with you soon!

I put the image that Markus drew of me on the july page...... its my birthday month.... Now Terry you have no excuse if you forget!!!!.....and various favourites for the 12 months of the year.

I dont want to show to many as Terry hasnt recieved it yet.

Day #5 of the 12 days of Christmas

Welcome to Day #5 .... and as i am in desperate need of Christmas cards and very short of time, my offering today is quick and simple cards. I made the 5 shown here in less than an hour as thats all the time i had today.
I stamped and embossed in gold directly on to a card black... no matting or layering..... nothing.
I added just red to holly berries.... on all the cards..... and minimal colour to all the images....

i really needed quick, simple, but elegant...in a hurry and these are them!
I'm sorry but i doubt i'll inspire any of you jolly bloggers/hoppers today, but i'll try to do better for saturday.

Smeared ink

Today is wednesday and its my 'day' for SMEARED INK. I am back to doing what i like best.... and thats non christmassy and not a card.
I have altered another domino and made the box to present it in..... i have used a Raven from QUOTE THE RAVEN, for the decoration on the box, and a skull figure (well cut down) from AS DEATH for the domino. I used alcohol ink to colour the domino.... i had to be very careful as i used stazon to stamp my image and they dont work well together. I sealed it with 3 coats of vanish, and attached it to a leather thong.

For the box top i used a piece of basic grey paper that i altered the colours of with red and black ink.... and used the wire netting stamp, the word raven and the raven image all from QUOTH THE RAVEN , stamped in black and highlighted with white gel pen.

DAY 4 of the 12 DAYS of CHRISTMAS and TUESDAY TAGGERS

Welcome to Day#4 and forgive me please....i have gone all stylish..... TUESDAY TAGGERS new challenge theme is 'HOLLY'...... and i wanted to do something using a SMEARED INK goddess, i also wanted to keep to minimal use of colour.. and this is the result...... I stamped the goddess and embossed her in gold.... i over stamped her with some HOLLY, that i also embossed in gold..... cut the image down and matted onto gold, black and gold again.
I used a card front from last year (i love to reuse stuff!)..... stamped and embossed my greeting in gold..... lots of gold going on here!!!!
stuck my goddess panel on, then put the completed 'front' onto a black card base...... its difficult to see as i use a black background for my photos.....

I used tiny red 'pearls' as the holly berries ...and 3 (just 'cos i wanted too!) just above the goddess panel.
