Blue and Brown Christmascard

I have made a blueish christmascard again. I like blue/brown christmascards, well, I like red, white and gold christmascards too. And purple... Oh - I like christmascards in all colours!
On this card I've used different old papers in blue and brown colours. The paperedges are lightly distressed and inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
The Image (I love this Magnoliaimage!) is coloured with DistressMarkers (used a little Glitterstickles on some details).
I used three Magnolia DooHickeys (Tag, Fence and Snowflake), laces, a charm, some halfbeads and some rhinestones. I had to give the snowflakes (I used two punches as well) a touch with Glitterstickles).
The sentiment is from Kort&Godt. In the left bottomcorner I used different postalstamps
(Christmasthemed, I think I used two different sets from Kort&Godt).

Inside the card I used the same paper as the backingpaper on the frontside (it does show better on the front in real, than in the pictures)
On the greetingpanels I used a greeting from Kort&Godt and a swirl from Panduro.

And the backside, simply decorated as the insides. I made a "postcard", with a "handmade by"-text, different postalstamps and my personal stamp masked in, and a little greeting here too.

I'll enter the christmascard into these challenges:
Sparkles Christmas #20 - Sparkle and Bling
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long #29 - All Sewn Up
Totally Tilda #56 - Bingo (Lace/ Distressing/ Gems - Distressing/ Punches/ Charms)

Sketch N Stash #97 - Sketch

Thanks a lot for your visit :)

The Night Before Christmas...

This weekend I made another christmascard with Papirdesigns new christmaspapers.
What inspired me to make it was a (new) stamp, the poem about the little girl who thought she'd been so nice that she had to hang a pantyhose by the fireplace... I think this cute Sarah Kay-image fits well to that text. It's an image I've had for years, and get more fond of every time I use it (although it has some tricky colouringparts). This time I coloured with ProMarkers again.
On the front, the paneledges are inked (DistressInk WalnutStain) and sewn down.
The lacy edge is made with a Martha Stewart edge punch (Doily Lace).
The sentiment is a cutout from one of Papirdesigns older christmascollections, I used GlossyAccents on top of it (oh, how I hate that wait-untill-it's-dry-part!!!)
Beneath the sentiment is the poem, rolled up, with a ribbon tied as a bow around it (picture of it opened further down).

And here's the inside, made as a "light" version of the Sketch Saturdays sketch I used to make the front.
On the left side (where I think it's too bulky to write anything by hand, I stamped two different christmasgreetings. On the rightside I just stamped the same "borders", but left the rest blank to write a personal greeting.
Of course the edges are inked inside too :)

The backside, where I made a "Postcard", using different stamps, one of them saying something like "handmade with warmth and care by", then I masked in my name from a different stamp:

Here I've opened the bow, to show the poem:

Here's a close-up showing the poem, rolled out:

I'll join these challenges with the card:
Sketch Saturday #226 - Sketch
Creative Inspirations #181 - Christmas In September
Paper Crafting Journey - My Sentiment Exactly
Scrapperiket - Bruk 2 Forskjellige Skrifttyper (2 different fonts)

Christmas Pop-Up Card

 Good morning everyone.
Today I'll show you one of the cards I've made this last week.
(I was up early, early taking pictures, though it's a day off from work - in fact I'm not going to work untill Tuesday afternoon ;)
On this card I made the inside first, then it fell into my mind that I had to make a frontside to the card as well - but how should I make it, with so much going on inside the card??!?
I used quite some time thinking, trying and moving papers and images around, but felt everything was too messy, too noisy... I needed I calm and simple front!
Then, on Wednesday, the sketch at Midweek Magnolias came, and everything fell into it's place. I knew which papers, image, embellishments, everything I'd use for the front was clear to me! Except the fact that I hadn't received the ribbon and charms yet...
Luckily it fell into my mailbox Thursday! So while my boyfriend installed the new dishwasher (a terrible week without it!!!), I finished this card :)
Further down you can find the list of materials I used for the card, so now I'll just show a few pictures of it:

If the Shoe Fits - DT OLLCB

Good morning to you all :)
Today we have a new challenge for you alt Ooh La La Challenge Blog,
and the theme this time is
"If The Shoe Fits"
A perfect challenge for a shoelover as me - oh, how I wish I'd have shoes like the one I've used in my card!
I'm pretty sure there are more of you shoeloving girls out there, and I hope that you will join in on our challenge this forthnight.

I've used image and paper from the Shoes In Bloom-collection - not easy to choose between all those lovely shoes and papers, but I ended up with this "musical" shoe.
I made the card as an easel-card, and chose not to use too much embellishments and decorations, as I wanted to show the shoe most.
The stamp is from a stampset I've had for ages. The shoebrads were bought at Panduro a looong time ago. They were pink, but I used Versamark inkpad and black embossingpowder to colour them black (think I was pretty clever there ;)
I attached a shoecharm to the black laceribbon.
Behind the picture I placed a black cardboardmatting, and used a black lace beneath the image.

The sentiment says "if the shoe fits: buy one in every colour!"
So girls, I hope you'll take a hop over to Ooh La La Challenge Blog,
to see what the rest of the DT-girls there have made
(oooh, there are sooo much lovely to see! - lucky me have had the chance to see it earlier ;),
and join our shoe-challenge.

Christmascard in red and white - and a little brown

I have made a christmascard with Papirdesigns new christmaspapers. This years christmaspapers are absolutely lovely, so, hopefully, I'll manage some more with them.
I have masked two Magnoliaimages together. I haven't been a "masker" earlier, but borrowing a chairimage from a friend really got me started. Now I tell myself I don't have to mask everything - LOL
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
I used som brown lace, and brown backing behind the image and the tag (Magnolia DooHickey).
The red ribbon has a little presentcharm attached.
The paperlace is made with Martha Stewarts Doily Lace Edge Punch.
For santas beard I used LiquidAppliqué. On his suits fur trim I used Glistening Snow Writer (from Deco Art). I have discovered that it doesn't go very well with DistressMarkers, that this image is coloured with. Just with a little touch it kind of sucks the distressink and spreads it. It even happens on images that are coloured weeks ago...
But - it's glittery, so I can't resist it - LOL

The inside, clean and simple decorated with only a greeting and some tiny red halfpearls. The paper is the same as one on the front.

Now, I'll send my christmascard to the following challenges, and X my fingers:
Christmas Challenges (with sketches) #41 - Sketch + Twist (mask 2 stamps together)
Christmas Cards All Year Round - Christmas Presents
Christmas Crafting #14 - Traditional Christmas Colours
Midweek Magnolias #28 - Christmas in September
Stampin' For The Weekend #17 - Starting Christmas Early

A Pink Fairytale

Good morning, I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday morning!
Where I live we have a rainy, windy day, a perfect day for crafting - But I have to go to work!
But first I'll show you a "Fairytale"-card I made the other day.
A card all in pink, well not entirely, I had to put in a few other colours, couldn't have a pink sky, could I???
And on the frontstep I used a paper with a blueish background, to "support" the blue sky.
I put a Magnolia-image on each step, and as background I used a castle (also a Magnolia-image).
It's all coloured with DistressMarth DistressMarth DistressMarth DistressMarth DistressMarth DistressMarth DistressMarth DistressMarkers. And of course I had to u="c" text-align:="text-align:"> Here's also some cheesecloth, a pink lace, a pink ribbon (with pink hearts), a princesscrowncharm, flowers and pearls and butterflies.

Here's a closer look at the images. Can you see the teenytiny dragon I cut out of the paper and placed by the feet of the big dragon...

Scooter Tilda in Autumn

Tonight I have an autumncard to show you. For this card I'm back with my beloved ProMarkers - I keep trying DistressMarkers, but I feel ProMarkers is more my medium...
This Scooter-Tilda is coloured in autumnlike colours. Orange and green, and blue jeans, wow, did I feel bold colouring!
The papers are all from my scrapbox, this time the orangebrownish shades (I really HAVE to use some of the scrappapers now!)
The leaves a The leaves are cut with Spellbinderdies, then sprayed with Glimmermist (Coffee Shop).
All edges have DistressInk (WalnutStain).
And isn't the scootercharm just adorable! (it shows better in the next picture).
The last picture shows the insides. I used the same MS punch as on the frontside. On the leftside I printed a beautiful autumnpoem, unfortunately I couldn't get a good enough picture of it...
(I see now that the colours in this picture isn't quite right, the panels are more orange than they appear here...)

I'll try my luck in these challenges:
Sketch N Stash #96 - Sketch
Totally Tilda #55 - Autumn Tilda
Simply Magnolia - Anything Goes
Tilda's Town #18 - Autumn Colours

Christmas in September

I have finished my September-Christmascards for Hjertebodens Juleblogg
Their September-challenge is to use Blue and Brown, so that's the maincolours of my cards.
It's only three cards, but lots and lots of pictures.
I hope you'll like them.
This first one is a Paperbag-card, with two Magnolia-images masked together.
I've used lots of glitter and bling, pearls and swirls, cheesecloth and other stash to decorate it.
The image is coloured with DistressMarkers.

I decorated the back of the paperbag same style as the front, just a little simpler, and stamped a christmasgreeting on it:

Inside the paperbag I made a tag, with a little stamp-decorating. It gives plenty of space to write a personal christmasgreeting (almost space enough for a letter...)

I'll also put my paperbag-card into the challenges at:
Sparkles Christmas Challenge - Sparkle and Bling
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything Goes
My Mums Craftshop - Anything Goes
Cutie Pie - No Flowers
The second card, also in blue and brown, and with a Magnolia-image cololia-image coloured with DistressMarkers.
With pearls and swirls, laces, cheesittery decorations.
On the edge of the frontside I used my new Martha Stewart Deep Edge Punch (Floral Wine).
This one is made after Totally Gorjuss' Sketch.
A simple, flat decorated inside (Nellie Snellen dies and a stamped greeting from Kort& Godt):

I'll send this card to:
Crafty Catz - Christmas
Totally Gorjuss - Sketch

The last card is made with Sketchy Colors sketch (doesn't make their deadline, as they closed the challenge 12 hours earlier than the blogtext said... :( )
The froggy got back on track again so I made it :D
Again a Magnolia-image coloured with DistressMarkers. On this one I've used a little crushed velvet for the fur-details.
The images on all three cards are coloured with Distres>
This cards inside is also simple and flat decorated - I find it best to keep the inside flat, both for folding and airmail :)
On the back, I used one of the stamps I got from Maya - isn't it georgeous! (last post)
My last septemberchristmascard goes for these challenges:
Stampin' for the Weekend - Starting Christmas Early
Creative Card Crew - Christmas

Thanks a lot for using a little time with me.

Lucky Me

Do I brag if I write to tell that I have won a prize?!!?
So be it! I have to show you what I've got!
Earlier this summer I joined in on a Sketchy Colors challenge - and won! Yesterday I got mail - a thick envelope in the mailbox, from Maya.
I have already tried the dies, and oh, were they georgeous! I plan to use them on a card really soon . I've already used one of the lovely stamps - LOL

I also got this lovely card - a cardfolding I really have to try very soon :)
"Mum, you HAVE to buy that fence!" was Heddas reaction when she looked at it...

Thanks a lot Maya and Sketchy Colors!

Teddy Bear Antics at Ooh La La Creations

Monday morning and time for a new challenge at Ooh La La.
I hope you all will take the time to join in on this one.
The theme the coming fortnight is Teddy Bear Antics.
I have used papers and an image from the Boys To Men collection - I had a hard time choosing what to use among all the lovely images and papers, but ended up with these lovely teddies in the garden.
And notice the autumncoloured leafbrads I found in a drawer!
Aren't they just perfect for a fallcard like this!
The kite is also a finding from a drawer.
I've had some of those for a looong time, but haven't found any use of them - until now :)

This is the inside, with a birthdaygreeting (Norsk Stempelblad AS), the autumncoloured leaves again and faux stitching (in orange!) around the panel:
I hope I've given you a little inspiration to dig out your teddies and join our challenge - do hop over to
Ooh La La Creations to see what the rest of the ladies have made.

I'll send my teddybear-fall-card to the following challenges:
Here Come The Boys #35 - Teddy Bears
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Everybody Art #202 - Anything Goes
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything Goes
Panduro - Alt er Tilladt (Anything Goes)

Strawberries at the End of the Summer

The summer is said to be over now, but I have to show a Summerfeelingcard I've made. I coloured this Magnolia-image as one of the first when I got my DistressMarkers.
I really love this beautiful, summerlooking Tilda! (and I love strawberries...)
The idea for this cardtype I found in the blog of the very talented and creative Mariannes Papirverden, it is absolutely amazing what that girl can come up with of folding!

I kept the card clean and simple - didn't want to cover the lovely strawberrypaper :)
This card doesn't fold open, it has a "tag" inside (cool - or what -LOL):
I used a Martha Stewart punch (Cherish) around the card. The panels are made with Spellbinders Labels Four - can you see Tildas feet and basket is coming out of the panel :D I made it!

I'll try my luck in these challenges:
Panduro Hobby - Alt er Tilladt (Anything Goes)
Crafty Creations - A Summer Scene
Card and Scrap #38 - Brug Dies (Use Dies)
Papiravisen - Girly
Everybody Art Challenge #202 - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe's Crafts #27 - Summer
Through the Craftroom Door #33 - Anything Goes

Gift-Tag in white, pink, blue and green

I have made a little gift-tag - the colours in the picture shows a little bit darker than they actually are - you'll have to have a little patience with me, experimenting with a new camera...
The butterflyborder, on the leftside of the tag, is one of those new cupcakepapers/-wrappings. I cut the closing off and painted the rest of it white. The blue and pink butterflies are made with Martha Stewart punches. On top of the tag I attached a Magnolia DooHickeytag and put on a lace (same lace as I tucked underneath the image) and a little ribbon.
The image is from Magnolia, coloured with ProMarkers.
All paperedges are inked, the backingpaper (Majadesign) is distressed too.

I'll send the tag to the following challenges:
Sketchy Colors #128 - Pink, Blue & Green + White
Magnolia-licious - Butterflies & Blooms
Simply Magnolia - Pink, White, Green and/or Blue
