Pink Christening Card

Next weekend we're invited to a christening, so I've made a card to the sweet little babygirl :)
I love working in pink, and here I felt I almost brought it to the limit of how much pink one can use in a card :s
(If you look closely you can see a little white here and there)
I made the card as a crisscrosscard, very inspired by Lena Katrines crisscrosscard in bluetones.
She has the most inspiring blog you can imagine. It's well worth a visit (almost every day), and a place in your sidebar.
Inside the "crisscross" I have the card where we can write (or stamp) the greeting, this card is also pink, pink, pink...

I decorated the back of the cards, as well. All these papers and embelli'es makes it really heavy, so I'm kind of happy I don't have so send it by mail - :D LOL :D

As always - I may have read too fast/ too little through the rules of some challengeblogs, or have mixed rules from some challenges, so with the fear of getting excluded, I'll try my luck in these challenges:

Sweet Stampin' - Babies & Little ones
Stampavie and more - Girlie
CropStop - Pearls
Card Makin Mamas - Pink
Papertake Weekly - Bingo (I have 2 rows; Free/ Pearls/ Blooms and Pearls/ Ribbon/ Free)
Creative Craft World - For a child
My Time To Craft - G is for... (Girlie, of course :D)
Try it on Tuesday - Anything Goes
Sukkersøtt - Monokromatisk

Here's what I used for the christening card:
Cardstock: Bazzill
DP's: Panduro
Ink: Adirondack Earthtones Espresso, Colorbox Rosebud
Stampimage: Magnolia
Text: an old rub-on
Colouring: ProMarkers
Spellbinders Labels Four and Fancy Tags
Martha Stewart edge puncher
Roses
Leaves
Rhinestones
Halfbeads
Pearlstamens
Ribbon
Charm
Safetypin
Crystalstickles
Sakura Gelpen
and at the back; my personal "Handmade by Lisbeth"-stamp (which Papirdesign in Bodø made for me, when they had a shop there)

Blue Easelbox

I made this one a while ago, but have forgotten to show it to you (how I can forget it, as I keep it on the bathshelf, and see it several times each day, and even have the pictures ready, I really don't understand...)
I keep earrings in it - the one we use most every day, and don't bother to run upstairs to the bedroom with everytime we change them ;)
It's made out of 4 matchboxes. I decorated both in- and outside of them. On top I've made a kind of easelcard, where two Tildas dressed in blue, are sitting. Of course they are coloured with ProMarkers.
I decorated it with Flowers, halfbeads, pearlstrings, ribbon, lace and a doily (I think that should be everything :)
And of course I used glitter and Glimmermist...
For handles on the "drawers" I used Tim Holts Hitch Fasteners.
The picture below shows it "from the other side".

I'll enter my Blue Easel Earringbox into the following challenges (and keep my fingers crossed that I've read the rules correct...) :

Sketchy Colors - Shades of Blue
I LOVE ProMarkers - An Easelcard
Sukkersøtt - Monokromatisk
Scrappekammeret - Kammerpikenes Format

Thank you! Bottlegifttag

I was working on a "Thank you"-project when a friend called and asked for a thank-you card, for a gift he'd bought. I put away my own project for this, much more exciting one ;)
The bottle in the picture is not the gift, it's just one of my own I used to take the picture :)
I've used papers from 3ndypapir. The fairy is from the net, I printed it and coloured it with ProMarkers, and put on a little glitter. Everything is distressed and embossed, I also used Glimmermist "randomly" around.
Closeup of the image. This also shows some of the Glimmermist and glitter better :)

I'll enter my bottlegifttag into these challenges:
3ndypapir - Tusen takk
Scrappekammeret - Kammerpikenes Format
Stamp something - Something To Say Thank You
Scrap'a'Long - Anything goes

Lots of Embellishments

Are you, like me, one of those who love embellishments of all kind, the ongoing challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday will be just the right challenge for you :)
The challenge is to "Use a Lot" - 3 or more of your favourite embellishment.
(-and yes, you're right, there are 2 challenges going on at Fussy and Fancy right now :D)

I couldn't quite choose what embellishments to use, but ended up with my all time favourite; roses, and one of those I more recently discovered; halfbeads. I used 4 roses and many, many beads, of various sizes. And of course I added a few more embellies, like ribbons and pearls...
Can you see that I've tied ribbons in Tildas hair(they are tied, not just glued down!) - I just couldn't resist it :)
-and guess what I used to colour Tilda; ProMarkers of course! :)
This picture shows the inside of the card.

The DPs are from Papirdesign and from Magnolia.
Stampimage is also from Magnolia, and the textstamps are from Norsk Stempelblad.
The panels are made using Spellbinders Labels Four.
All edges are distressed.

I'll try my luck in these challenges with my embellished card in pink:
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Flowers
Catch the Bug - Distressed/ Shabby Chic
Marks Finest Papers - Distressed Card
Paper Playtime - Anything Goes

My Monochromatic Magnolia Card

This is quite new to me. Working "without colours".
When I saw the challenge Monochromatic in The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge, and then at Stamps & Fun = Creativity, I thought I'd do this "properly". I wanted to make it a bit old-fashioned, a little bit shabby chic.
I had to use a little time on the planning of this one, both which papers to use, what to do with them. And of course which Tilda to use, and how to colour her without using "proper colours"...
(for her skin I used Ivory, then Warm Grey 1, and then blended them well together . think that worked quite nice)
A while ago I bought a jar of UTEE, and have read about the use of it, but never really come to try it. Now I decided to do that. I put on five (5!) layers of this stuff on the image, then put it into the fridge.
Oh, how excited we were (Hedda and I) when we took it out of the fridge and started "cracking" it - we both think it turned out really nice.
The banners are homemade.
Inside the card I've used the same colours, and distressed in the same way.

I'll enter my monochromatic card into these challenges:
TOMIC - Monochromatic
Dream Valley - Distressing
Pollycraft - Distressing
Stamps & Fun = Creativity - Monochromatic
Catch the Bug - Distressed/ Shabby Chic

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bazzill
DP: Creative Imagination, Panduro, Glitz Design
Stamps: Image Magnolia, Text Imaginisce
Colouring: ProMarkers
Spellbinders Labels Fifteen, Fancy Tags
DistressInk, BlackSoot
Lace
a bit of sheer fabric for th big ribbon on the front

And, of course, I've made a card that I hope can inspire you to join in on our celebrationchallenge.
I have used an image from Lili of the Valley, one of 20 free LOTV images that came with issue 89 of Papercraft Inspirations. The image is coloured with ProMarkers.
I've used DP from Papirdesign, punches, dies, glitter, beads - almost every embellishment I could think of, and here's how it turned out:

The inside is more "clean and simple" - I like the idea of being able to write a greeting without being afraid of "ruining" the card ;)

...and the back. With my personal "made by Lisbeth"-stamp, and a glittery butterfly (MS-punch)
I welcome all of you to join in on the celebrationchallenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday.
Lots of fabulous prizes from our wonderful sponsors are waiting for you :)

Warm Christmas Wishes

Here is last weekends production of christmascards.
Yeah, I'm still in with Hjerteboden's Julebloggs three christmascards every month-challenge, and I'm proud of it! The spring and summermonths were a bit hard, but now, as evenings are getting darker I find the christmasspirit much more easily :)
This month I chose to use Kenny K's digi-stamps on my cards.
I think these "girls" are absolutely fabulous. And so fun to colour! (And I think they are perfect images on christmascards for single boys - and for those with a bit of humour :D)

All three cards are made after the same sketch, from I LOVE ProMarkers. A really fun skethchallenge!
I'll show two pictures of each card, first the front, then the inside (as always I've made the inside as an easier twist of the sketch)
***
The "Girl" on my first card, Bodacious Bev, actually isn't one of Kenny K's christmasdigis, but I think she very well can be dressed up for christmas ;)

My second card, and the one I like the best myself.
Can you see Mistletoe is waiting for a christmaskiss ;)

And my third card, KennyK's XmasHottie - georgeous image!
I found a holly/mistletoebranch on the net, which I printed and coloured to use as an "embellishment" on the card.

***

I will play along the following challenges with my christmascards:
I LOVE ProMarkers - Sketch
Jingle belles - Bling on the holidays
Saturday Challenge - Christmas is Coming
Bah! Humbug! - 'KISS'mas
Passion for ProMarkers - Divas with Glam and Glitter
and, of course, all three cards goes to
Hjertebodens Juleblogg
with the yearlong challenge "three christmascards each month"

Happy Birthday

I let myself inspire by the sketch over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges to make a birthdaycard in yellowcolours. I think yellow is a difficult colour to work with. Often when I use it, I have to do like I've done this time - it has to be monochromatic...
I borrowed Hedda's Cuttlekidmachine to make the letters for the birthdaygreeting. I like this font a lot :)
After gluing the letters down I covered them with GlossyAccents - I think it makes such a lovely 3D-effect.
All edges are "torn and ripped" and distressed. I used DistressInk PumiceStone on the edges.
The butterflies are "painted" with crystalstickles. I have several butterflypunches, but it's always this one, from Martha Stewart, I come to use - strange...
I've decorated the inside just using some of the elements from the frontside.
The labels are made with a Spellbinderdie.

So - here's the challenges I'll enter my yellow birthdaycard into:
Magnolia Down Under Challenges - Sketch
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes/ Glitter
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Happy Birthday
Tuesday Throwdawn - Birthday
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes

Christmas Gifttags/ -ornaments

For our latest challenge at Fussy and Fancy one of the ladies (Norma, with the lovely blog "from my craftroom") had made some wonderful christmasornaments. I got really inspired by those, and had to make my own. I made it into gifttags, but sure they can be used as christmasornaments after the gift is opened :)
I've used Magnoliaimages, coloured with ProMarkers. The papers used are mainly scraps and leftovers (perfect use for scraps too big to throw away, and too small to make cards out of...)
The circles are made with Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles Large and Standard Circles Large. The largest circle is a paperstrip (I used a borderpunch on one of the longsides) that is accordionfolded, then glued together.
So far I've made three, but I hope I can find time to make more of these, as they were both fun and easy to make - and quite decorative too, I think...
Here comes pictures of them, one by one:

...and this is the backside of one of them (all backs are quite the same; same die and stamping used):

As every month I (try) to send three christmascards to Hjertebodens Juleblogg (and last month I was the lucky winner - I still walk around smiling :)) This month I'll send my three Gifttags/ ornaments for them.

I'll also enter the challenges at:
Jingle belles - Shape-Up for the Holidays
OLLCB - Oh Christmas
Scrap'a'long - Anything Goes
Craft Us Crazy - Anything goes in August
Christmas Card Challenges - Recycle

Heddas Summercard

My daughter Hedda (10) likes to sit together with me, colouring, cutting and making cards.
She was so happy when she heard that Kreativ Hobby had a challenge for children that she could enter a card into.
Above you can see the card she made. She prefers to make easelcards (I don't know why, and she can't explain it - that's just how it is...)
...and this is how it looks opened:
She's used a Magnoliaimage (actually my oldest Tildaimage, and the one she loves the most). She has coloured the image with ProMarkers.
She's even using the Spellbinder and the hot gluegun on her own (I find that very fearless :D)

I hope as many as possibleof you will write her a comment, as I know she will love to read them...

Fussy and Fancy Christmas

Over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge we have the challenge "Christmas in July" going on.
I hope my Pocket card here can inspire you to join us in the challenge.
On my card I've used a digistamp from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.
The image is coloured with my (beloved) ProMarkers.

This cardmaking I've seen on YouTube, in a video from the wonderful Stampin'Up! Demonstrator Dawn Griffith - her videos are so good. She both shows and explains everything so well, and has such a lovely voice - you can hear that she loves what she's doing :)

On the insertcard I've stamped a christmasgreeting. The stamp in the circle is the punched out of an identical digi as the one I used on the outside of the card (just printed slightly bigger).
The circle is attached to the insertcard with a 3D-foampad, so that the insert card sort of "hangs" on the edge of the pocket (Dawn explains this much better than I do ;) )
The red ink I've used around the edges is scented with cinnamon - it gives such a "christmasfeeling" to use it :D

Now: click on to Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge, to see what the rest of the DT has made, and check out our lovely sponsors
Bugaboo Digi Stamps
and
Inspired Stamps

My Christmas Pocket Card will go into these challenges:
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes in August
Scrap'a'Long - Anything Goes
Simon Saus Stamp! - Christmas in August

Strawberry Tilda

Tonight I will write just a short post. Coming home from work tonight I had a terrible headache. For seven years I've been sitting in my tower at the airport, in completely peace and quiet - I have never felt a headache before! But today there were a &@{*#&/ of a noise outside my windows - there's digging (with huge machines) and driving and shouting - and I had to sit there listening to it :(
It was sooo good to come home and go into my scraproom (with a little glass of wine) :)

I think this Tildaimage is soo supercute. I found both her and the papers in Sweden when we were there on a short holiday.
I've used a lot of embellisment on this one - buttons, bows bling, swirls, lace, ribbons, buttons, flowers, pearls and a little ladybugcharm that I coloured with ProMarkers.
The image is, of course, coloured with ProMarkers.
The panels are distressed and then sewn down to the cardstock. I've also used DistressInk Old Paper on the edges of the papers.
Inside the card I used the same papers, distressed and inked, but I couldn't get the pictures in the "right way" in the blog - so I simply deleted them here...

I'll enter these challenges with my StrawberryTildaCard:
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Sketch
Totally Tilda - Swirls/ Ribbon and Lace
Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Bingo, Flowers/ Pearls/ Lace
Just Magnolia - Buttons, Bows and Blooms
