MFT Creative Challenge | Jazz Up Your Blooms

Hello again!  It's time for another MFT Design Team Creative Challenge and this month we are challenged to use bring life to our flowers by stamping patterns on those beautiful petals.

I'm using the Plaid Background Builder and LJD Darling Dots to bring some pop to these petals.

I started by cutting out a piece of Smooth White Card Stock with the Hybrid Camellia Flower Die-namics and then stamped the dots in Razzle Berry Ink and the stripes in Blu Raspberry Ink.  After rolling the center piece of the flower, I added a little enamel dot to the middle.  I stamped the sentiment from Essential Sentiments in Black Licorice Ink.  The color combo I used tonight is the April Color Palette Challenge.

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for a complete list of designers playing along in this month's Creative Challenge.

You can find these fun products waiting for you in the MFT Boutique:

I feel a bit rusty with my stamping - it's been about 2 weeks since I've put ink to paper and this sweet little Pure Innocence Picture Perfect stamp set from MFT was just the Copic therapy I needed.

I stamped her in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then colored her with Copics.  Coloring makes everything better.  I love it!  Now, fussy cutting?  I don't like that as much, but I love the way it looks on a card.  Haha!  I stamped the Patterned Triangles Background in Grout Gray Ink on Primitive White Card Stock and then added the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics underneath.

Be sure to stop by and see what the Sweet Sunday Stampers have whipped up for you today:

MFT April Release Rewind

Howdy! Have you seen all of the new and fabulous April products from My Favorite Things?  All of the new products are available in the MFT Boutique right now and the design team is having a little Release Rewind party.

I have a couple cards for you tonight; my first features the adorable new Pure Innocence Sunny Thoughts.

I stamped her in the new Black Licorice Hybrid Ink on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then colored her with Copics.  I cut out some elements from Blueprints 14 Die-namics and then stamped the On the Diagonal Background in Grout Gray Ink on the rounded square.  I also added a little background behind her using Darling Dots on the rectangle die cut.  I stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice Ink and then added a few Grout Grey Buttons.

You can find these gorgeous products waiting for you in the MFT Boutique:

My next card features the other Pure Innocence girl, PI I Pick You.

I also stamped her in the new Black Licorice Hybrid Ink on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then colored her with Copics.  I added some Darling Dots in Banana Split Ink behind her and then added the little flower element from Blueprints 14 Die-namics in Sno Cone Card Stock.
