Hollyberry Finished

HUGE thanks go to Jayne at Jayne's Attic and Lynda Bodkin of Loopylou Designs for organising this SAL, this was my first big hardanger project and without their help and encouragement i know i would never have tackled it. It seems like forever since we started it back in February but now it's finished i'm going to miss it. It's stitched on 27ct linda using DMC (2 different reds and the green) Kreinik #4 braid and Kreinik #8 gold ribbon and a lot of gold beads (which don't show on the pic very well). I've learnt so many new things doing this one.

Just for you Karen, here's my westie kennel club, at least these ones don't have to be fed and walked every day !!!!!

So what has everyone been up to over the weekend then?? the weatherman got it all wrong again didn't he, we were supposed to have a nice sunny weekend .... all i got here was dull and dreary, ideal weather for DH and i going off shopping, we picked up a new vacuum cleaner (what joy!!) guess what i'll be doing tomorrow LOL

Happy Stitching and blogging

  3. wow Julie that looks stunning, well done on your first big hardanger. Loopylou ones are usually so easy to follow so I hope you wont be stopping there.

Dry here but very cold, my DH went to sort the garden but too cold for me lol, I stayed in and stitched.

Weather has been fantastic here for the last 3 - 4 days which is a massive shock as it is normally crappy here :)

Now that's the kind of Westie kennel club I like:) Although the real ones are very cute too but you don't have to walk the ones you have!
