Especially for You

A short post today, I received 4 stamps this week that I bought from Stamping Bella at a really good price, for the first time I actually got charged by Customs, I don't mind the input tax it was only £3.50 but I do get annoyed that the Post Office charged £8.00 administration fee, rant over.  I couldn't wait to use the stamps, I used Uptown Girl Brittany the Birthday Girl as I have a friends birthday coming up and thought it suited her perfectly.

The papers are from my stash, and all the delicious embellies are from the Ribbon Girl, I have tucked a Cherry Lynn English Teaparty Doily Die, a couple of Doo Hickey Tag and Label die, and cheesecloth behind the image.

The image was coloured with the following Copics:
Pinks: RV55, RV52, RV0000, Greys C5, C3, C1, C0, Browns: E18, E13, Greens: YG23, YG21, Flesh: E1, E00, E000, R20.

I was very pleased with myself yesterday, I had been admiring the pictures of products beneath quite a few blogs I have visited since getting back into blogging, so Googled how to and found the brilliant Inlinkz Project Manager, keeping fingers tightly crossed that it has worked, I am a complete numpty where technology is concerned so this is a real achievement for me

I am sorry that I have not linked to the Doohickey Dies, but they are so old I am not sure where you would be able to find them, You could try Tracy at Dies to Die For, she also sells Stamping Bella stamps.

Last Sneak Peek From Lili of the Valley Cars Plus a Returning Friend

2 cards rather late in the day,  I forgot to post the last of the Vintage Car images from Lili of the Valley May release this one is called "Vintage Sports".  this is just the sort of car I would like to be taken about in.

Very CAS card for me but the image speaks for itself, I used 2 downloaded maps for this one, the top map is of my favourite part of the country Devon.  The background paper came from my stash and is years old, I think it was a Basic Grey sheet.  I have also used 2 sentiments from Lili of the Valley - Sentiment Set 101 - Teenage Boy Sentiments.

Luckly I kept a note of the Copic colours I used in my colouring journal so here we go:

Greys: C5, C3, C2, C1, C00
Blues: B41, B000, B0000
Reds: R05
Yellows: Y33, Y08, Y02
Browns: E15, E41
Greens: G94, YG63, G21, G94, YG23, YG21

Together with the New Cars, Pub, Shed and Caravan stamps Lili of the Valley  will also be bringing back 3 old favourite Boy Images.  This is the first of the Returning Friends "On My Bike"

Thought I would make an easel card for a change, the papers are from Nitwits Collection - Up Up and Away, another CAS card I am getting quite good at trying to do less is more. The Happy Birthday Sentiment is another LOTV  Stamp fom Sheet 8 - Happy Circular Sentiments. The Buttons were from Mums old Button Box, I am going to have to make one of my own now.

The Copics used for this image are:

Blues: B28, B24, B41
Browns: E15, E97, E50
Greys - GTyres N3, Nw2, N0, Shoes/Bike C7, C3, C1, C00
Hair: E74, E43, E41
Flesh: E21, E00, E000

Thats it for today, still waiting for the forecast snow, but up until now it has been a beautiful sunny but chilly day.

Keepsake Box

No card today I made a little keepsake box for my Daughter in Law, it took ages as I had to make a paper template and I mucked it up a couple of times, but in the end I got the measurements right, I have made a note of them now and will do a little tutorial on making this box soon.

I have used some super goodies from Ribbon Girl, Papers, Pearls, & Flowers all details below.  A Mary Stewart Edge Punch was used for the edge of the lid and bottom of the box, and have add Stardust Stickles around the edge of the Cherry Blossom & Open Roses.

Details the Flower arrangement on top of the box.

I also tarted up the inside of the Box with delicious papers.

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek 5

Before I start with todays cards I would like to tell you about some exciting news I had this weekend, Mary and Andrea aka The Ribbon Girls asked me to join their design team of course I accepted, who wouldn't, the offer came as a complete surprise especially as I have lost a lot of confidence over the past couple of years, so a big thank you to Mary & Andrea.  I cannot wait to get started and to be working with such a talented Design Team.

This is sneak peek no 5 of the soon to be released Lili of the Valley stamp collection this image is called "In The Shed", when I first saw the image I thought it would only be appropriate for mens cards, but after thinking about it, there are lots of us Ladies who love gardening and a shed isn't a male domain any more.

Bird House Die - From Stash

Now for my Male version:   The papers are from my stash but I know they are from the now discontinued Lili of the Valley "Antibellum",  the sentiment is from Sentiment Sheet 103 - Sweet & Simple.

A Fairy in my tea

A girlie card today, back in my comfort zone, although I must admit I enjoyed the challenge of creating male cards, they say you should stretch your mind as you get older.

This is another image from Paper Shelter, isn't she just adorable.  She has been coloured with Copics, I am hoping to have a go at colouring with Distress Inks this afternoon, haven't had them out for ages and just had the urge to do something different.

Went a bit overboard with the Dies and Flowers, I ordered a FEW!!! new roses and Lilys from  Wild Orchid Crafts and they arrived yesterday so being me I just had to use them.

Lili of the Valley - Sneak Peek 3

Morning Peeps today I have 2 cards for you both using another of the Lili of the Valley Vintage Car Stamps  - Vintage Racer  due for release early May.  My boys both love this Image,  they each suggested a colour for the car, this is James choice.

The Paper is from my Stash and I downloaded a Road Map from the Internet, the sentiment is from LOTV sentiment sheet 102 - Block Sentiments.  A Joy Craft Cutting-Embossing-Viewmaster-Die cut from Kraft paper has been tucked behind the Map, I have added the smallest of the Memory Box Precious Hearts Dies  to a banner also cut from Kraft with Joy Craft Cutting-Embossing-Banner-Die.

British Racing Green was the colour chosen by Ben, he is very patriotic.  Once again paper is from stash and I have used the rest of the downloaded Road Map for the other layer.  2 more Lili of the Valley Sentiments have been used these are from Sentiment Sheet 101 - Teenage Boy Sentiments .

There are too many Copics used to list here but if you would like to know the colours let me  know in the comments section here or message me on Facebook.

Hope you like these new stamps as much as I do, and thanks for looking

Sneak Peek time again, today I am sharing a card using one of the New Lili of the Valley stamps which are due for release first/second week in May, will let you know the actual release date as soon as I have it.

This release has some fantastic stamps for those dreaded Mens Cards, a little bit different from the usual LOTV style, but still sketchy and easy to colour, the cars have been designed in 1930/60s Poster Style.  Those of you who know me will know how much I dread mens cards but I found this one really easy to colour.

I will be back tomorrow with another sneak peek, a little bit different to this one. So please pop back and check it out,
