Thank you! Using the single 1 attack to create odd cards was exactly the strategy I had in mind for that level, so I'm really glad you were able to figure that out on your own!

Very stylish looking game! Though I would think of another term to use for the "turn cost", since it confused me. As I understand it, it's actually more of a mana cost (with you simply gaining 1 mana every turn), not a turn cost. Using a spell with 0 turn costs still ends your turn, using a spell with 2 turn cost still just ends 1 turn (your enemy only gets 1 turn before it's your turn again).

Definitely a cool concept! Amazing artistic style, good player feedback, overall a great job! Though I feel like the demo ends a bit too soon (Is there really only 1 encounter after the tutorial ends? Or did I just get incredibly lucky finding the exit?). Also, I feel like it's a bit of a shame you can't see what you are brewing because it gets almost completely hidden under your hand.

Ah, a nice charming little game! A bit simple for me, but hey, it's a game jam game, that's totally to be expected. You managed to make a game, and you should feel proud!

Neat concept, excited to see what more you can do with it! Right now, it does get a little samey after a bit, but that's to be expected from a game jam game, so don't worry too much about it ;)

Nice game! I do think it would have been even cooler if there was a bit more of a unique twist to it to differentiate it more from games like Stacklands & Witchhand. But definitely a solid foundation, keep it up!

Hi, thanks for checking out my game! The "allied swarm has < 4 cards" simply means having less than 4 of your cards on the field, like you thought, so I'm pretty sure it was activated (if the card shows non-0 points + has a green sprite & points-outline, it's activated), but you might just not have fully understood what that meant (it means the card will contribute points to your total attack power & make it so its neighboring enemies get attacked). I get that this kind of game really benefits from an in-game tutorial, but within the jam time limit that was sadly not something I could manage. Also, I'm a little confused on how you could possibly have 1 hp after the first turn though, since in encounter 1 there are only 4 attacking enemies, so you can only lose max 4 out of 8 of your cards.

Surprisingly fun little game! Simple, yet there's actually still strategy to it. Also, you did a great job making dropping & matching orbs feel & sound satisfying!

Beautiful game which definitely fits the theme very well!

Small point of improvement: I found the character to feel a bit irresponsive-feeling due to the long cooldown after attacking. I get that this was likely deliberate, but I think it would feel better & accomplish the same thing to then add some charge time, rather than freezing the character after the attack is executed (it doesn't feel great when the animation is basically over, but the character is not responding to your movement input yet).

Some extra player feedback could also always be nice,  it was sometimes hard to tell whether I successfully restored a creature or whether I missed / it disappeared (since the restored creature blends with the environment) . Great job though, you should feel proud of what you've made!

Neat, relaxing little game. I liked wandering around and discovering landmarks (took me a while before I realised the clicky-noise was me discovering a new landmark haha). Also, I enjoyed getting a new note about a landmark you know you've been to and having to retrace how you got there again.

The only thing that slighly confused me was that NPC's have question marks above them even when you're not supposed to interact with them yet.

Cool idea and well executed, definitely fits the theme. I like how you showed the enemy (or should I say player?) actually dragging towers with a cursor!
But is it just me or is the ranged unit not actually ranged? Either way, great job!

Simple, but sweet (like the taste of blood?), good job!
One small critique: I don't feel like the art for the player reads very well. I didn't know it was a human untill I read the desciprtion afterwards. I like the art for the background & mosquitos though!

This game is AWESOME, I love how you designed the controls to be very manual / labor intensive & how you have to multitask.
The only tiny thing that threw my off at first is that the repair button lights up when hovering over it, even if you don't have scrap.

I like the music & the funky art style! The idea also definitely fits the theme, good job!

Thx for the feedback! The slippery leaves were a deliberate choice, though I didn't have a lot of time to playtest so they could be a bit too slippery. As for having to wait when you fall, you can press R to restart instantly.
