Very cool. I loved the art work and the sound and music. And nice work incorporating the mouse only controls. Really solid entry.
Cheers
Nice work. I loved the snail timer. Very cute. And all the graphics and animations were great.
I did find falling to be really frustrating, but only because the movement was so slow that to get back to where you were just took a long time. I think the arrow growing a little faster would be nice, and maybe some way to just walk left and right instead of always having to jump. It made getting to the edge of a platform feel really slow.
Overall though, nice game jam entry. Good work.

What a great game. Played through the whole thing, paid off my dept with $2700 on top of it. So fun!
I hope you keep working on it. The game itself was easy to win, I never felt like I wasn't gonna win the race, not with all those steroids! But I had a lot of fun growing, and racing. Very fun entry. High on my list for sure. Nice polish too!

Really well done game. Mechanics worked great. The art was super adorable, the sound was excellent, and everything was very well polished. I do think the mouse only diversifier actually worked against the game. I think if I could control the dog with the keyboard it would've been a lot more fun. I found the endless clicking of the mouse more annoying than it was worth. But otherwise, solid entry. This is high up in my rankings for sure, just for the pure polish.
Well done. Good luck with the jam.
Very cool. I loved the little comic at the beginning... So beautiful. Great art.
And I liked the concept of the game. The endless runner with puzzles in between. I mean, I hated the bug swatting one, but I think that's all part of the challenge of the game. (those stupid bugs! ARGH!)
:)
Overall, super well done. You should be proud.
Good luck with the jam.
Thanks!
I was worried the game was too easy, because I kept ending with 57 seconds, but I figured easier is better, and it turns out that a lot of people die on their first run. Which feels right. Die on the first run, crush it on the second.
And yeah, the hit boxes need some tweaking, or having a check on corners to push nudge character in the right direction to avoid those little catches. Great feedback. Thanks!
Good luck with the jam.
Amazing game. I will admit, I couldn't figure out what the actual goal was. I loved the design, the aesthetic, the mood, the creepy things that chase you and pull you back, the hellscape surrounding the track. It was awesome. But after what felt like 10 minutes I still couldn't figure out what to do. If you want to drop a bigger hint I'd love to play it again. It felt like a piece of art teaching some deep philosophical lessons about life and the meaninglessness of it all... I call that a win even if there isn't anything else to the game. ;)
Nice work.

Really fun idea for game. I loved everything about it except for the mouse controls. I wish I could have used the keyboard to steer... Kudos for implementing the mouse-only controls though. And I loved the aesthetic of the game.
I'm totally gonna make a crazy taxi style game one day now. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks!
Yeah, I realized I didn't implement arrow keys as an option... which is my bad. I just forgot.
And I bounced around the idea of the lives and time being linked, but I liked the 9 lives cat idea and the idea that as you play you have to make the trade off between life/time. But it's a good critic for sure.
Thanks for the feedback.
Good luck with the jam!
