Good game!
The first game directly related to racing that I have encountered so far :D
Quite well implemented, I like how the sprite of the car changes with the slightest movement (How did you do that?)
In Unity, there's a component you can add to your camera called a pixel perfect camera and basically it just makes sure all that is rendered is in a specific resolution perfectly, I just used that. Thanks for playing!
Im going to be honest, when the I left the town I got jump scared so badly by the little creepy critters! I really really like this game! I found the movement good and art style was perfect! I also could not figure out how to get past the weird area but enjoyed it a lot!
Glad you enjoyed!
It was fun in the beginning. I love the style and the weirdness! I just couldn't work out what to do which is a shame because that's what made me move on to the next game.
Amazing game. I will admit, I couldn't figure out what the actual goal was. I loved the design, the aesthetic, the mood, the creepy things that chase you and pull you back, the hellscape surrounding the track. It was awesome. But after what felt like 10 minutes I still couldn't figure out what to do. If you want to drop a bigger hint I'd love to play it again. It felt like a piece of art teaching some deep philosophical lessons about life and the meaninglessness of it all... I call that a win even if there isn't anything else to the game. ;)
Nice work.
D
So glad you enjoyed! The finale of the game will start once you get far enough out.
The game definitely has some more personal and philosophical meanings to me, I'm glad you got some of those elements out of it. Good luck in the jam!
Nice game. Didn't understand against who I'm racing. Love the graphics.
Thanks for playing! The game isn’t about the race. I don’t want to be to heavy handed about the actual goal, but I’d recommend exploring a bit more.
