Pink Feet

I am on our local NCT branch committee and one of the committee members has just had a little girl. So, I made her a pink and white card. The base card is pink Papermania card and white Brazzil Basics card. I used Nesties for the image and embossed two little feet using my Cuttlebug. I rubbed some pink chalk over the feet to highlight them. The sentiment is by Stamping Bella and the ribbon by Joy. The picture's not great - it is really difficult to get the pale pinks.

My Fathers Day Card

I wanted to stay away from the usual blues for men's cards - so went with greens and browns. I used a green coloured card, base paper is Papermania Retro Florals. The band is green and brown layered card. I wanted some large letters but didn't have any stamps large enough. So printed out the letters on my PCon green card and cut each letter out. I added 3 green brads to each card and attached them using 3D foam pads. My dad loved it!

An Anniversary Card

The colours on this card are a bit of an experiment. I have used a blue Papermania paper with dark pink swirls, so I decided to use a contrasting colour - pink. The card is pink Brazzil Bling. The Papermania paper is torn using a really great tool from Creative Moments - it's a metal ruler like tool with two different tear patterns on either side. The image is Penny Black, coloured using pencils and cut out using my Nesties. I have added 3 heart shaped brads and the sentiment was printed on the PC, corners rounded using a Woodware punch.

Roar Roar Dinosaur

A card I made for my friends son's 3rd birthday. It is made mainly with a great new Basic Grey range called Archaic - I saw this on the DoCrafts website. The base paper is "Prime" and I added a bit of "Obsolescent" on the bottom - cut along the pattern to make a lovely ridge. The dinosaur is a chipboard shape that has a sticky backing - perfect!! The lettering is from the same range - alphabet stickers. The 3 is cut using my Cuttlebug from "Rusty". I just love this card!!!!

Pink and Pretty

This is my entry for Jo's Blog Candy. I have used my new Hero Arts cupcake stamps. The base card is Brazzil Basics pink and white card, cropped with my Woodware corner cutter. The image is stamped on a Nestabilities rectangle layered with the matching scallops. I coloured it with Glaze pens to give it some shine and used holographic Stickles for the sprinkles. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set - this is layered over a large pink ribbon.
