Above is one of my quilt blocks for our Saturday Sampler quilt we are working on at Lavender Lime Quilt Shop.
For the past two Fridays, my daughter, Valerie, and I have been having our own Friday night Sew-in! I have accomplished a lot on my dutch doll quilt. I imagine within the next two weeks I will have the top finished. I basically only like doing the sashing between the blocks. I will show the finished product soon.

I look forward to seeing your Dutch Doll quilt. Hope you have a great day and best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving.
I love the colors in your block. That will make such a gorgeous quilt. I am excited about seeing the Dutch Doll quilt too.
I signed up for the sew in. It sounds like fun.
Absolutely beautiful quilt block and blog. I just came over from Alle at Humble As I Go. I joined to follow and look forward to getting to know you better.
Blessings and prayers, andrea

Hi Alice,
Thank you for becoming a follower of my blog site. I haven't posted in the past week or so, but I wanted to stop over and officially say hello and become a follower of your site as well.
I admire those who are so creative and gifted. Your quilts, your daughter Valerie's quilts and of course Granny's quilts amaze me. I wish I had to patience to take on such an endeavor and learn. They are absolutely beautiful and such fine craftsmanship goes into making one.
As I've told some of my followers, if there isn't a comment left on your site, it doesn't mean that I'm not visiting and reading. Sometimes I'm just too tired with the Fibromyalgia I have, so I get on and read. I have visited your site before and have enjoyed reading and looking through it. You certainly have a talented family and one that I'm sure you are so proud of. Your daughter Valerie is a sweetheart and I enjoy reading through your site as well.
Again, I'm happy to meet you and look forward in getting to know you better.
Blessings & Hugs,
Alleluiabelle
I love that block. My grandma used to quilt...I never did learn. I don't think I have the patience anymore...lol
Lovely block! I too can't wait to see your Dutch Doll quilt! I so need to get back into my sewing room. I have way too many UFO's that I need to tackle. Now I need to get going on a Christmas wall hanging that I started LAST Christmas!!! :o(
