Sitting pretty

Peach drove me nuts climbing up on the bench by the dining room table...the floor is tile and if she fell off backwards it would really hurt.

Then she found out she could sit by the fireplace all by herself.

She loves sitting next to her favorite person in the whole world...and cried real tears when it was time to say goodbye to Auntie Jen.

When you are little you can make your own spot to sit.
My yarn bowl turned upside down makes a good place to sit if you have a little butt!

Goodbye to November and Hello December.  Doesn't seem like it should be December this soon.

  1. Jen is good at making little ones fell special. Peach is learning so many new things. I bet she doesn’t sit anywhere long.

  2. Can you believe December already? Peach is so cute...she has such beautiful eyes... Yes..those tile floors can sure be hard on a little one if they fall. Her little stool was fun...Oh how wonderful it would be to be able to squat down again...not happening!!

  3. Peach is a sweetie pie. I love it when they are that age! But, even better when they are tiny and just beginning to coo and you can cuddle them. Babyhood is way too short.

  4. I guess it's real that the older we get, the faster time goes by.
Oh to be young enough and flexible enough to get up easily off of low seats.

  5. She is so darn cute! It's good she found a couple of much safer spots to seat herself.

  8. Peach sure is cute. How I'd love to be as agile as she is and easily get up off the floor. GM

  9. Peach has a GREAT personality and a zest for life - - doesn't she? Toddlers are so cute and fun to watch because the simple things in life are great discoveries to them.

  10. Awww, chasing around a little one is sure tiring. But when they are like that, they have boundless energy and NO fear! My son is now going through that stage with their little one. She has discovered climbing anything and everything!

    Love her little seat!

  11. Little Miss Peach clearly has her own mind. She's sounds like a lot of fun, though a little worrying at times.

  12. I just do not have the energy for that. If someone else was around to chase her, yes, but not by myself.

  13. So cute! This reminded me of how much my grandkids loved to sit on the fireplace hearth just like Peach. One year I covered the bricks completely with quilts as we had 2 toddlers and 2 crawlers, and I was terrified one of the would crack a head on the bricks.
