CARACTERÍSTICAS
• No está dirigido a grandes grupos de consumidores, sino
que se centra en pocos compradores que requieren de
bienes o servicios específicos para fabricar productos.
• Las compañías involucradas en este tipo de mercado
deciden su ubicación por factores como la proximidad a los
suministros de materias primas, a la disponibilidad de mano
de obra y la cercanía de sus proveedores o compradores.
• Es ajeno a las influencias y a los deseos del usuario final. La
demanda final es un asunto que compete a los fabricantes
que venden al consumidor.
• Concentran mucho poder adquisitivo. Debido a que compra
grandes volúmenes, puede obtener más con menos.
• Los compradores se basan en criterios objetivos como el
precio y la calidad de los bienes y servicios.
