a. When I am happy, I feel and do… I feel that everything around me is better, and I do my best to
continue to feel that way.
b. When I am angry, I feel and do… I feel a lot of anger inside me and I talk to a close friend to tell
them and give me recommendations on what to do.
c. When I am bored, I feel and do… I feel like everything turns a dull color around me and most of
the time I don't do anything to feel better.

¿Qué es y para qué lo uso?


Utilizamos el primer condicional (FIRST CONDITIONAL) para hablar de acontecimientos del futuro que son
probables en una situación determinada. Este tiempo verbal nos informa de qué ocurrirá (o qué es probable
que ocurra) en el futuro si antes sucede otra cosa.

¿Qué reglas hay que tener en cuenta?


Todas las oraciones condicionales constan de dos partes o proposiciones (en inglés, “clauses”): la
proposición que empieza por “IF” y la proposición principal. De hecho, estas oraciones se denominan
“condicionales” porque su proposición principal está condicionada por el hecho expresado en la proposición
con “if”, es decir, depende de que ocurra o no lo indicado en esa frase. En el First Conditional, la estructura
básica más habitual es:

  Proposición con "if" ...proposición principal


Estructura: if + sujeto + present simple, … sujeto + will + forma básica del verbo
Ejemplo 1: If I decide to go out tonight, … I will send you a Whatsapp.
(Si decido salir esta noche, … te enviaré un wasap).
Ejemplo 2: If people don’t recycle more, … climate change will get worse.
(Si la gente no recicla más, ... el cambio climático irá a más).

Ahora, tú puedes pensar que es más sencillo pensar que la parte con “if” debe aparecer primero, seguida de
la proposición principal. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que también se puede invertir el orden.
Así, el ejemplo 1 podría redactarse igualmente: “I will send you a WhatsApp if I decide to go out tonight”.
Cuando colocamos delante la proposición con “if”, debe ir separada de la proposición principal por una
coma. Cuando es la proposición principal la que aparece antes, NO necesita coma al final. ¿Quieres saber

running over. “Alex Apple!” she said, “Go to the classroom and sit in the thinking chair.” Alex spent the rest of

the thinking chair and yelled, “Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” over and over and over again until the teacher finally called
