Thinking of you

Today I put together a multi occasion card.  I used a Nellie Snellen embossing folder and a butterfly die which I cannot remember where it came from.  The sentiment is unknown to me also.  I used tiny gems on the body

Thank you dropping by and hope to see you again sometime soon.

Busy bees

I managed to find a little time to put together a clean and simple card using a Sizzix ( I think), Creative Expressions sentiment and a Gummiapan bee stamp. The bees I coloured using Polychromo pencils.

Looking like Christmas

  Hi all

Here we are again with a new challenge for Peace on Earth Christmas for team Diane using the moodboard below

I chose a little of every pic white, gold an a bauble

The bauble is an Impresslit all in one emboss/die by Tim Holtz.  I have had this for well over a year and only used it a couple times.  Mental note leave it on table to use more often lol.

I wiped gilding wax over the embossed areas.  The tiny bow came from a multi pack of dies which could be unbranded - I just have no idea of origin

The branch and the sentiment I embossed in gold, again no idea who made them they were lurking about in the drawer

Thank you for visiting and why not head on over to Peace on Earth Christmas and join in with this fun challenge

Happy Birthday

Today I was going to make some cards for some of my DT obligations for 2023 but decided to make this one for the fun of it.  I die cut a circle for the flower head and diecut a couple of tiny leaves.  I coloured them by dabbing them into distress oxide inks and left to dry.  I then embossed with a crackle stamp using versamark and sticky embossing powder, heat then used gilding flakes randomly.

I drew the stem using brown pen. I round the circle and leaves using an embossing tool on a rubber mat.  I cut into the circle in the attempt to make it look like single petal - not so sure why as can't really distinguish the difference lol

I used double sided foam tape under the leaves and in the middle of the sentiment to lift the centre for a curved shape. This was to cover a crooked attempt of stamping directly on the card TWICE lol.

I die cut a circle on the front panel and used double sided foam tape to adhere it.

Snowmen R US

Well yesterday I stated I would just make digital cards for my neighbour however that has changed - for a couple though. My new dies turned up from Gummiapan today and could not resist these cute little snowmen.

I die cut an aperture. I embossed the background using a snowflake folder (don't know the make) I randomly cut the hill shapes and stuck them together to how I wanted them leaving a gap between them so I could slot one of the little fellas between.
I used glamour dust randomly as snow on the hills. the snowmen and a few of the snowflakes

Taking a break

There was me thinking my Christmas card making was finished for ths year - how wrong was I!!! My neighbour has asked me to make 6 for her so here I am again. She is going to get all digital cards as I have no inclination or motivation to get die cutting lol. Digital image is either from Hungry Jpeg or PNG wing - I have no idea have forgotten which site it is lol.

I cut the aperture on front panel and the image behind. I dotted gold glamour dust randomly around the beautiful deer. Sentiment composed in word.

Finally on the last stretch

I had to make a card for my fabulous partner - He is a songwriter and bass player.  I used images from PNGwing.  The tree has a red musical note but didn't like it so cropped it off and replaced with his initial. I merged the images together and used word art in word for the sentiment
I matt the front panel on black and adhered it to the card base

Thank you for poppin in

Clear skies

Hey where has this year gone?  December already and here we are with the final challenge of 2022.

For this month over at AAA Birthday the theme is embossing, any kind of embossing as long as the card is a Birthday Card

Guest Designer for this month is Izzy - why not head on over to her blog and leave some love

For this card I used an unnamed butterfly stamp on vellum and embossed it using gold powder.  For the background I used a cloud digital image from PNGwing.
The aperture was created using a normal square die and front of card adhered to card base using double sided foam tape.  The sentiment stamp I am not aware of the origin.

Thank you for taking a look at my profile-I would love to look at yours so please come join in with the fun over at AAA Birthday challenge - we gain inspiration from each other.

Snowflakes are us 1

It has been a few days I posted so I thought I better get on and post one.I have been training all week for my work and have felt absolutely shattered.

The snowflakes are just one die. I think it just used for the snowflakes as was left with the negative space. I used glitter card behind the negative space. I die cut the snowflakes twice stacked them and then offset them on the background to create a kind of shadow with the glitter card showing. I cant remember where the sentiment is from.
