Winnie and Penguin

It's fun to do some Christmas cards in July! Who am I? did I really just say that! LOL!

There are so many great holiday images in the Polkadoodles shop for the holidays. I got the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna bundle to start with. I just love the bundles as you get digis, sentiments, digi paper and digi embellies and more for a reasonable price! The price is even better if you use a Digi Choosday code, just sayin'!!

The image I chose is Winnie with Penguin and I paired her with Winnie White Christmas Papers 1 and one from the bundle that I couldn't find individually in the shop.

I colored my image with copics and then I added stickles to the edges of all the papers to add a little sparkle and interest. Once that was dry I put the card together and added a little more sparkle to her wings.

Dino Love

I recently discovered the Sticks & Bones collection at Polkadoodles and fell in love. I love dinosaurs and these are so fun! I bought the Mammoth Dinosaur Bundle as I *needed* it all!! 

I thought the Best Friends Dinosaur paired with the sentiment "Dino...Love never goes extinct" was so fun!! I paired them with some digital paper from the Sticks & Bones Textured Dinosaur Papers 4.

Digi Choosday- Walking the Dog

The challenge is "Anything Goes" but the design team was challenged to create a card with the theme of Summer, Bright Colors and Something Cheerful!

I chose Winnie Walking the Dog from the Starfish/Sandcastles Collection. She just seemed all summery with her big hat on and the cute dog just melted my heart with the sunglasses on. 

I used the digital papers from the Winnie Sunshine Delights Paper Pack 2 for my papers. They probably aren't quite as bright as I could have gone but they just made me smile and think of summer!

Digi Choosday- Smell of the Sea

The theme is "Anything Goes" but the design team was challenged to create a card with the theme of "Smell of the Sea". Nothing screams the sea to me like a pretty mermaid!! 

My mermaid is the gorgeous Meribelle Mermaid digital stamp and the pretty papers are from the Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Collection. I bought the VIPXXL Edition Bundle that came with tons of digital products! The collections are really such a great way to get amazing Polkadoodles digital products that all coordinate together.

There's a Stamp For That-You're gnome-azing!

It's time for a new challenge at my group, There's a Stamp For That! Challenge #24 has the themes of Unicorns or Sparkle or at least 3 layers! 

My card today follows the theme of having at least 3 layers. I love this Butterfly Gnome from Polkadoodles! He just makes me happy!

My papers were printed from the Polkadoodles Winnie Sunshine Delights Paper Pack 2. I really am enjoying the digital papers! so nice to be able to just print out what you want.

I printed my sentiment from Polkadoodles Gnome-tastic Sentiments just a tad too big to go on the outside of the card so I added it on the inside.

Digi Choosday-Hello again my amazing friend!

It's time for another Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge!! 

The challenge is "Anything Goes" but the design team was challenged to create an easel card with the theme of friends.

I used THESE directions for my easel card. I thought this super sweet digi, Missed You from the newest "Winnie Let's Hang Out" collection was perfect! I bought the Let's Hang Out- Winnie-Big Kahuna Bundle, I loved it all so much! The sentiment and digital papers are all from this new collection.

Lil' Miss Sugarpops Unicorn

I've had this cute digi for awhile but have been a bit intimidated to color it up as it had so many details. I finally decided to just jump in with both feet and I'm glad I did. Isn't she just the cutest!!!!

I colored up Lil' Miss Sugarpops Unicorn with copics and Prismacolor pencils. I just had fun with the process and added some fun colors to make her unique!

Since she was so colorful I kept to basic cardstock colors for the rest of the card so she would stand out. 

I added lots of sparkle to finish off the card. So super adorable!!

Knowledge is Everything

The challenge is "Anything Goes" but the design team was challenged to create a CAS (clean and simple) card with ribbon or twine.

I had the Knowledge is Everything digital stamp printed out and it screamed to be colored up! I just love those big beautiful eyes! I paired her with a little piece of Winnie Celebrations Kit 2-Papers 1 digital paper and some twine. 

To make her fun glasses more realistic I added some glossy accents. I just love doing that!

Digi Choosday Challenge-Something You Have Used Many Times

It's time for another challenge at the Digi Choosday Crafting Challenge! It's another "Anything Goes" challenge so I hope you'll come join in the fun!

The team was challenged to create a project with something you have used many times. I thought about it and decided that I use my copics on almost every card, I like to have layers usually and I love adding pearls and sparkle so those are the things I use many times. 

I had a hard time choosing which awesome image to use as there are SO many fabulous stamps in the Polkadoodles shop but finally decided on the super cute L'il Miss Cutiepie. I just adore her!!

My papers come from the Winnie Celebrations Kit 2-Papers 1 digital papers. Once the card was complete I added touches of sparkle to the bow and flower. The finishing touch was adding some pearls.

Exciting news- Digi Choosday Challenge-Animals

 I'm super duper excited to be able to share that I have joined the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge Team!! I have fallen in love with Polkadoodles and all the different stamps/papers/etc. that they offer. They truly do have something for everyone!

I will be sharing my inspiration for the Digi Choosday Challenge Blog every other week but be sure to check it out each week as there is a special discount offered each week!! How amazing is that!

The challenge is "Anything Goes" but the challenge teams have special challenges, this week the team was challenged to "Animals and a Flap". 

The animal part was easy as Polkadoodles has so many adorable and fun animals images but the flap part challenged me a bit. I finally found THIS tutorial and decided to try my hand at a Side Flap Trifold Card. 

For my card I used the super cute digital stamps~ Hello Spring and It's Spring. I was super excited to try digital papers for the first time and used Winnie Celebrations 2-Papers 1. I love how easy it was and how pretty they are! I can't wait to use more digital papers!!

I got lucky, my cat Alyssa tried to steal one of my images but I rescued it, whew!

I really like how this turned out and can't wait to make more of these kinds of cards.

Llama Love and Hugs

I fell in love with this ADORABLE digital stamp from Polkadoodles called Too Cute Llama Love!! I just smile whenever I look at it!! I couldn't wait to color it up!

Once I had it all colored up I paired it with some digital papers, Winnie Celebrations Kit 2- Papers 1. I thought those hearts were perfect!!

Hello

 Today I have a card using a super cute and fun digi from Polkadoodles called Hello Spring. Don't those little duckies just make you smile!!

I had fun bringing them to life as I colored them. That's my favorite part of coloring, seeing the image come to life.

I kept this card super duper simple so that the image would stand out. Those duckies just get me every time I look at them, so darn cute!

I added a bit of Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to the butterfly wings for a touch of sparkle.

Hello with a cute hedgehog!

Eulanda has been sharing all kinds of cute projects using Polkadoodles stamps so I finally decided to take a peek. I couldn't resist and bought a few digis! I then discovered they have a challenge, Anything Goes, so I decided to enter this card into it!
