June Roses

Hi there, Diane with you today.

I have a pretty card to share that is made with the most gorgeous papers from Graphic 45 Time To Flourish for the background. This paper is so beautiful, you won't need to embellish much, as it makes a statement all on it's own!

All I added were a few Roses made with Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms, and colored with Susan's Gardens PanPastels Flower Coloring Kit. The leaves are light and airy, created with Prima Leaves, and just tucked in among the Roses.

The little tag you see is also from the Time To Flourish paper. I wanted to mention this paper pad is a month by month set and the month I used is June!  I love this paper so much, that I purchased 2 pads, one to use and one to hoard!

I finished off with a ribbon/bow from my stash!

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Colors of Fall

Hello Classy friends! Diane here with you today with my card from our newest challenge Cozy Plaids. Add warm, fall colored plaids to your project.

Nothing says fall like a squirrel scampering around gathering his winter food! We have lots of squirrels here out in the country where I live, and when I saw this cute Squirrel from Stacey Stamps, I just had to purchase it!

I first stamped the image with Versamark and then heat embossed with Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Brown Fizz Embossing Powder. If you were here to see the card "in real life", you would notice a bit of "Sparkle". And a quick tip is, don't forget to use the Anti Static bag before you stamp your image!

I die cut a few Prima Leavesone was cut from the beautiful Classy Fall Card Stock Bundle, using the Mandarin Curious Metallic included in the package.

Next is the most exciting new die I think! It is a My Favorite Things Die-Namics Sequins die. Using the Orange Iris Shimmer Sheetz, I cut the most fantastic sequins!!
Beverly carries two new sampler package Shimmer Sheetz both Iris and Gemstone. Just imagine all the colorful sequins you can make with these!!

I did pop up the background paper a bit using Joy! Large Foam Pads.

The Design Team at Classy Cards 'n Such would love to see YOUR entry into our challenge. Don't forget with 7 or more entrants, you have a chance of winning a "fabulous" prize!

Hope to see you here!!!

Close To You

Hello, it's Mindy! I needed a really frilly card for a young friend who loves the color purple, and things with lots of bling!

I just received a wonderful order from Classy Cards 'n Such, and decided to use some of my new products immediately!

I started with a piece of printed paper and cut the Prima Doily #4 - Rose die, and split it two pieces. I used the Tool 'n One to brush all of the little negative pieces out amid the intricate design.

I stamped the little girl image, Fanny's Cuddle clear stamp, and colored her and her puppy in with colored pencils. The image was trimmed with an oval die and mounted on a rectangle of purple card stock.  his element was then added to the center between the doily pieces.

The sentiment tag was cut from card stock using the A2 Filigree Delight die and two oval dies. The sentiment I included was from the stamp Why Do Birds, only inking part of the stamp. I adhered the sentiment oval with foam tape to give the card dimension.

I completed the card by adding tiny roses, a bit of ribbon, some wire springs, and several pieces of the Eternal Swirl - White Pearls.

I hope you have enjoyed this card, as much as I enjoyed making it!

Fancy Fold "Z" Card

Hello Classy Friends, Diane here with you on the blog today! I have been making so many A2 cards that I decided to step a bit out of the box and get slightly more creative!

Today I have a very easy and fun card to show you, a "Z" card. I'm sure you have seen these here and there and I noticed there are several versions of them. I went for  the "simple" version!

My card was started with a cream card stock base. I covered the front and back of the card for a more professional look, starting with the front using Stardream Serpentine Pearlized Metallic paper, which I embossed with a Crafts Too Mini Fans embossing folder.

The rest of the card was covered with beautiful papers from the Prima Zephyr 6x6 paper stack.

Before adhering all my papers down with 1/2" Scor-Tape,
I used the Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool with Tim Holtz Distressed Inks, on all edges of my papers. I think it gives a more finished look to the card, blending all the papers together.

I used a ribbon from my stash on one of the panels of the card, which I glued a resin Whimsy Heart to the bows center.

To decorate the front of my card I cut two sets of Memory Box Blushing Bouquet that I colored with copics. The little bow on the front is so precious! It is Memory Box Tiny Bow.

The inside of the card I used a sentiment from JustRite Poppies Label Twenty Nine which was stamped and cut on Spellbinders Floral Ovals.

If you would like to try one of these cards, I have a "rough" diagram for you ,this is very easy using a 8 1/2" x 11" card stock. Save the upper piece to make a smaller version of the "Z" card!

I hope this has inspired you to try one of these cards. They are so fun and easy! The hard part is deciding how you want to decorate them!
