Jupp!
Jeg hadde to nøster, men trengte fem ...

Yes, I need to calm down. And I will, since summer holidays is coming up. Summer is an ocean of time just waiting for me ahead with tons of possibilities. I'm going to relax, hopefully a lot of times at the beach, with some knitting, a book, music or a podcast, with a lot of delicious food and lovely drinks and just enjoy life in general. I love it when summer is ahead of me with lots of expectations and time. Lots of time! I'm really looking forward to it. I have so many plans, I'm going to knit a lot. As usual. My plan is to finish all of my WIPs, and probably cast on just as many projects. I'm probably not going to have time for more than half of it, but it's nice to be an optimist right?
I have a colleague who is quitting work. She's such a great person and she is totally Knitworthy. So I made her a shawl, a Lovely Shawl. And I used almost only yarn from stash. Ok, I admit it, not only yarn from stash. I had two skeins, and I needed five ... At least I used the two from my stash. The shawl is knitted using Drops Babyalpaca and it's so big and soft. I really want one myself too. I'm thinking about knitting one for me during summer.

With My Whole Heart
Lørdag var World Wide Knit In Public, dagen da man strikker i offentligheten.

Saturday was the World Wide Knit In Public Day, the day you knit in public. I didn't really have a lot of big plans of knitting in public. I was in Amsterdam with a non-knitting friend, so I didn't think I would have any time to be social and knit. But by accident, I swear, at least almost by 100% coincidence, we were right by Stephen & Penelope at noon. Stephen & Penelope arranged a knitting meet up that day. So many nice people, so much lovely yarn and I was persuaded to stay long enough to join the Bingo. My not-knitting friend? Well ... Yes, I placed him at a pub next door. Me on the other hand enjoyed some knitting time together with the queen of brioche Nancy Marchant and the owner herself, Penelope. The Bingo? Oh, yes, it was so much fun. I won! And before any one think I was extremely lucky, everyone who joined won. Stephen & Penelope had made some fantastic prizes. A large pile of project bags filled with lovely yarn and patterns. The first one who won, chose a bag first, the second who won got to chose second, and so on. I was number three who won, and I think I was extremely lucky anyway. The prize was fantastic. I chose a project bag with four skeins from Qing Fibre, a gorgeous yarn I haven't tried, but I can't wait to knit with it. I also got the Cúram pattern from Ysolda Teague and some wooden knitting needles. Love it!
