Family and friends

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Our family was blessed with seven sweet babies four years old and under. Imagine the chaos and noise! Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Santa came early for Holly and Amelia.

Yesterday, Justin and I attended a 'big fat Greek wedding'! His business partner,Bob, and his wife,Thalia, have been married for 31 years but never had the official Greek wedding that Thalia's religion required. Beautiful ceremony!

In between my crocheting I am currently reading the latest Stephen King novel "11/22/63".

I thought it was going to be about the JFK assassination, but it is about trying to stop it from happening. Great read!

1. I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream even though I know I shouldn't! 
2. I would rather wear a pair of jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers than a dress and high heels.
3. I don't wear makeup. 
4. I taught myself to crochet 40 years ago by following the instructions from a Woman's Day magazine.
5. I 'melt' whenever I hear Randy Travis sing 'On the Other Hand' or George Strait sing 'The Chair'. These are the first songs that Justin and I danced to the first night we met.
6. My favorite store is an antique store.
7. I can't handle stupid!

Visiting my friends

I have been trying to visit all of the blogs that I follow and let you know that even if I don't comment, I enjoy reading about your life. I receive so much information for new crafts, recipes, life lessons, etc. Thanks to all that responded by visiting my blog.
It's trying to rain, but it has been so hot that the raindrops evaporate as soon as they hit the ground! Hope it cools off!

Bazinga!

I ran into one an old friend this morning at Wal-Mart. She and I worked together in the Quality department and she taught me how to use the computer and other things that were required in our job. She is the sweetest person God put on this earth and I am so glad to be able to call her a friend. God bless you Jan for being my friend.

I scoured a few of the many crochet patterns that I have found online and came across this African Flower pattern. Aren't these colors yummy? These work up quick and I made this many while watching TV last night. I am going to experiment with baby blue to see if this would work for a little boy blanket.

 I have gotten addicted to watching "The Big Bang Theory" at night. Sheldon acts just like my nephew!!

This is Howard who thinks he is a ladies man. Bazinga!
