Hoppy Easter everyone! It seems like Easter took forever to get here this year.
I'm lucky enough to spend Easter with my extended family this year. And even more lucky that I have a family that I want to spend Easter with. I hope you are as lucky as well.
I thought I'd do an Easter recap as well as show you a few things I haven't shared yet. So here goes.
Let's start with the mantel. I did change it up a bit since I first shared it with you. I'm constantly tweaking. If you want to see the before, check it out here.
Can you spot the changes?
I added the moss bunny to the left. And some wheat grass in some buckets.
And I added some tiny clothes pins to my Easter tags.
I like the changes I made to the mantel.
Remember the sofa table behind my sofa? You can find my original post about it here.
This is one area I didn't change since I first posted.
I must have been happy with what I had already done.
And remember my thrifty Easter vignette? I posted about it here.
I'm still in love with this bunny!
Some more wheat grass.
And I just posted about my china hutch in my Easter parade post here.
I'm usually a bunny fanatic. But these chickies have stolen my heart. But don't tell the bunnies.
Look! They can live in harmony.
Then I shared my shelf in my We are still hopping down the bunny trail post here.
I tend to be frugal aka: cheap in my decorating. But cheap doesn't have to be ugly. It can be quite nice.
I told you all about my home grown Easter grass here. This was my first attempt at growing wheat grass. I'm totally hooked.
I took these photos this morning. Check back at my original post to see how much they have grown in the last week. Amazing! Too bad hair can't grow that fast. But then again, maybe I wouldn't want hair to grow that fast.
Yesterday I showed you the area on top of my TV cabinet. You can find it here. But remember that I forgot to take a photo of everything all together? Well I took this photo today, just for you. I'm nice like that.
I have Christmas lights on top of the cabinet. You can sort of see them in a few photos. They are actually Candylights. Christmas lights dipped in silicone. I won a couple of sets from some blog last year or the year before. They come on whenever the TV is on. I love them at night.
And now for a few areas I haven't shared yet.
This is the end table in my family room. I found the covered bunny jar at Salvation Army a couple of years ago. The peonies are fakies from Dollar Tree.
I placed the Dollar Store peonies in this ceramic basket that was another thrift store find. The handle of the basket is covered by the peonies.
I have these 3 cloches that sit on a huge wooden tray on top of my white trunk. I've had the tray for over a year now (thrift store find) and I've yet to paint it. I can't decide what color to paint it.
These bunnies came from Dollar Tree this year.
This bunny came from a thrift store. I've had it for a few years. The cabbage pedestal plate came from Ross a couple of years ago.
And I found this bunny box at Home Goods a few years back.
I did pretty good this year not spending money on Easter decor. But then, why would I need to when I have so much stuff.
Well I hope you have enjoyed this recap. If you stayed until the end, I have to commend you. You are a true blue trooper. May the Easter Bunny bring you lots of treats.
Even though my Easter decor has a lot of bunnies, I do know the real reason we celebrate Easter. And my Savior Jesus Christ will be foremost on my mind this Easter Sunday. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. For that I am eternally grateful.
Happy Easter! And I know that my Redeemer lives!

More Easter Decor
How are you all doing this Good Friday?
I thought I would share with you today, the top of the TV cabinet in my family room.
I keep some of my white pitcher collection up here. I did add this mug with a "K" for Kim. I found it at Ross last month for less than $3 bucks.
I added fake green hydrangea to the vase. And look, my other Pier One moss bunny has found a home here.
I never did take any photos of the entire set up in one photo. I guess I was in too much of a rush this morning. I had to take pics before leaving for work. That is why they are never very bright.
Here is the right side.
This bunny sits in neutral territory. I found this a couple of years ago at Goodwill. In fact, I found 2 of them.
More of my white pitchers.
The bird cage came from TJ Maxx last year. I placed this thrift store milk glass compote inside with a ball covered with green seeds. The ball came from Tai Pan Trading last year.
And one final look at my moss bunny from Pier One.
I really love the green and white color combo used in this vignette.
Well my lunch break is over. I better get back to work.
Take care my friends and have a Happy Easter this Sunday.

We are still hopping down the bunny trail
Just 3 days until Easter and I still have Easter stuff to share with you. I know most of you have probably already moved on to thinking about Mother's Day. Not me, the procrastinator. I'm still tweaking my Easter decor.
Here is the shelf in my family room. It's pretty much been the same for the past few months. The mirror hasn't changed, the bottles, books & twigs haven't changed. Unless you count the spider webs in my twigs. But don't look at them. Hey, I said don't look.
I did add some Easter stuff to my shelf. But I was too lazy to add any blossoms to the twigs, or even to hang anything.
I always have such dreams of grandeur, but then real life gets in the way. I mean, my laziness gets in the way.
I made this huge medallion fan thingy back for Valentine's Day. I just keep changing out the middle section for the current holiday. Don't you think of Easter when you see bunnies? I'd call it a success then.
I found these 2 cute bunnies at Dollar Tree a few weeks back. I love the coloring on these.
And my Easter basket was a thrift store find for 50 cents. Can you believe that I don't have any Easter baskets in my stash of stuff? Neither could I. Well, I probably do, but I just couldn't find any. And for 50 cents, it wasn't breaking the bank to get a new old one. I had plans of gluing on flowers all around the outside of this basket. But do you see any flowers? Nope.
I filled the basket with some of the many fake eggs I have. Then topped it off with a papermache egg that came from Home Goods a few years ago. Nothing super exciting.
I did take off the fan medallions I had on the bottles. I added this Easter plaque and a couple of Easter tags.
The plaque came from my trip to Tai Pan Trading in Rancho Cucamonga a few weeks back. What? I didn't tell you about it? Shame on me. I even took photos to share. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday I'll post them. Depends on how much real life gets in the way, or my laziness, or my procrastination. I think this plaque was a dollar or two. Pretty cheap.
The tags are more of the FREE printables I found at EweNmePrintables.com. Need a tag for an Easter basket, gift or food you are taking somewhere? Hop on over to EweNmePrintables.com and print out some for yourself.
I printed mine out on white cardstock. Cut them out, punched the hole and then used my distress ink on the edges. I tend to get carried away with distress ink. I need to learn better control.
Another fast, easy & cheap Easter vignette.
Are you all ready for Easter? I'm not.
I haven't bought any Easter candy. Looks like the Easter Bunny might not make it to my house this year. But then, if you saw us, we don't need any candy. But I might have to buy a peep or two or eighty.
And I better get to thinking about Mother's Day pretty quick as it's in 2 weeks! Yikes! And my Mom's birthday is a week after that.
I'll think about it, after I take a nap.
