When do we use

We use present perfect to describe an action or
situation that started in the past and continues in
the present.

They have been dating for a long time. Elisa has lived in Toronto since she was young.

Already / Yet
In the Present Perfect tense, we use Yet with Questions or negative sentences.
Ever / Never
In the Present Perfect tense, we use Ever (Questions) and Never (Answer) to
express frequency.
