past and it has a result now or we do not know when it happened.

We use this tense when we refer to actions done many times in
a period of time from the past until now.

5. Comparative and Superlative of


adjectives
We use comparatives to say two or more people or things are Superlative adjectives.

but it is not always necessary. A superlative adjective expresses the extreme degree of

6. Prepositions of place (at, in, on,


under, between, behind, in front of,
next to)
We use these prepositions of place to say where people or
things are. They go before nouns.

In general, we use:

› At for a point.

› In for an enclosed space.

She is living in London.

› On for a surface.

The book is on the table.

› Under means below something.


But notice these prepositions have standard expressions:
