INTRODUCTION

A nurse often finds people who ask the way to


a certain place like a ward, emergency room,
clinic, and etc. In this unit you will study how
to give direction to people/guest in hospital.

A visitor is at Medica Hospital. He is asking a nurse the way to


patient ward, in Mawar room.

V: Excuse me, can you help me?


N: Yes sure. What can I do for you?
V: Where am I now?
N: You are on admission office now.
V: Can you show me the way to Mawar room?
N: Of course, it’s only about two minute walk from here. Well,
first, go straight ahead and then you will arrive in T junction of
this street, then turn left and Mawar room is on yor right side.
V: Okay. It’s clear. Thank you so much for your help.
N: You are welcome.

2. Make a dialogue between visitor and
nurse about asking and giving direction
on certain place in that hospital.
