to show present condition.
Examples:

Remember:
A ‘be’ verb should agree
with the noun or pronoun
in number ( singular and
plural).
Use is or was if a noun or pronoun
being talked about is singular.
Examples:

Use are or were if a noun or pronoun
being talked about is plural.
