    Ambivalent (adjective)
    Meaning : If you have mixed feeling about something and
    feel unsure of it, you can declare yourself ambivalent

    Antonym:clear/sure

    Synonym: mixed/ unsure

    Example : Some people took extreme positions but most


    had ambivalent feelings.
    Beneficent (adjective)

    Meaning : (of a person) generous or doing good.

    Antonym: cold-hearted
    Synonym: kind/ benign

    Example : He is the hyperkinetic, beneficent godfather of freed-heel skiing the Canaan Valley.
    Sortie(noun)
    Meaning : come out from a defensive position to make an attack.

    Antonym: retreat

    Synonym: raid
    Example : My grandfather, his father, was a WW1 ace and was on the sortie which downed the
