 To gain proficiency in planning
and organising teaching activity.

 Workshop method has wide range of
application in education.

 Workshop can be arranged to organized


microteaching session for upcoming teacher.

PRINCIPLES OF WORKSHOP

 All the participants of the


workshop have to prepare the
objectives to be achived during
workshop.

motivated to participate actively in
workshop to make the teaching

application for promotion.

ADVANTAGES OF WORKSHOP

o It is an appropriate method for realizing


higher cognitive and psychomotor objectives.

o Workshop helps in strengthening individual


capacity in terms of cognitive and psychomotor
techniques.

o Develops the feelings cooperation and group


work or team work.

o Workshop method is very usefull to study the


vocational problems.
DISADVANTAGES OF WORKSHOP

 Workshop does not serve its purpose if teacher


do not take interest in learn new techniques and
use in their classroom.

 Workshop is only suitable for group 8-10


participants

 It cannot be organized for large group of


participants.

 The time is required for the staff members and


participants.
