    individual skills in a subject through

    OBJECTIVES OF WORKHOP

     The objectives can be defined


    as two

     Cognitive
     Psychomotor
    COGNITIVE OBJECTIVES
     To analyse and solve the problems
    related to teaching profession.

     To identify educational objectives


    in the context of teaching and learning.

     To provide philosophical and


    sociological background for teaching and
    learning.
    PSYCHOMOTOR OBJECTIVES
     To gain proficiency in planning
    and organising teaching activity.

     To develop skills , to perform


    any task in an Independent manner.

     To train the person in using


    various approaches in teaching and
    learning.
    SCOPE OF WORKSHOP
     Workshop method has wide range of
    application in education.

     Workshop can be arranged to organized


    microteaching session for upcoming teacher.

     Workshop various programme for


    teaching education can be designed.

    PRINCIPLES OF WORKSHOP

     All the participants of the


    workshop have to prepare the
    objectives to be achived during
    workshop.

     Participants should be
    motivated to participate actively in
    workshop to make the teaching
    learning process effective.

    on communication ,developing better human
    relations and positive attitude towards each
    other .

     Every person is an important member in


    workshop his/her contribution should be
    appreciated for achieving the objectives of the
    workshop.

     Workshop should promote cooperating among


    team members.
    PURPOSE OF WORKSHOP
     To help faculty prepare a strong
    application for promotion.

     To help faculty better assess their


    qualification .

     To help faculty to recognize areas of


    strengthen.

     To help faculty better recognize their


    contribution of MUSM.
    ADVANTAGES OF WORKSHOP

    o It is an appropriate method for realizing


    higher cognitive and psychomotor objectives.

    o Workshop helps in strengthening individual


    capacity in terms of cognitive and psychomotor
    techniques.

    o Develops the feelings cooperation and group


    work or team work.

    o Workshop method is very usefull to study the


    vocational problems.
    DISADVANTAGES OF WORKSHOP

     Workshop does not serve its purpose if teacher


    do not take interest in learn new techniques and
    use in their classroom.

     Workshop is only suitable for group 8-10


    participants

     It cannot be organized for large group of


    participants.

     The time is required for the staff members and


    participants.
