Past tense is used to talk about
actions that happened or were
completed in the past.

For regular verbs, past tense verbs
end with -d or -ed
Examples:
play – played
type - typed
listen – listened
push - pushed
love – loved
PAST TENSE
Irregular verbs are either
transformed entirely, changed
partially,

PAST TENSE
Simple past tense is signaled by
time indicators in the past, e.g. last
week, yesterday, a year ago, etc.

PAST PERFECT TENSE
Time expressions are used in

After, as soon as, the moment and
until are used before the past
