They consist of all written/ printed
materials. Example of these resources are printed versions of textbooks, workbooks, references, magazines, news paper and journals. LINEON MLATERIAS
They are learning resources
that are made available online. Common examples of online resources are blog/vlogs, podcasts, audiobooks, e-books, videos, mobile apps, web pages, social media and emails/ electronic mails. BADCASTRO MLSATERIA
They are learning resources that
are transmitted through radio and television. Print Materials – consists of all written excluding non-print resources, which convey planned course information. Examples of print materials include, but are not limited to textbooks, workbooks, reference book, newspapers, journals and magazines. Broadcast media – can also be private and includes advertising Global TV and CTV are examples of commercial television. Online Materials – any resource available on the internet in an online educational environment. It might the HTML document such as course or chapter objectives, lectures notes, assignments or answer to chapter questions. It might be audio or video lesson, interactive exercises or exams, or providing links to other web sites. Characteristic of a good information: Accuracy – it means correct. It is reliable, free from flaws and with high quality.
Completeness – information should provide all needed
information. It must answer the WH question.
Timeless – information should be up- to- date.
Consistency -it is the state of reaching a level that does not differ greatly in quality overtime. - information should be unchanging.
Relevance- information should suit the demand,
needs and interest of the readers. Uniqueness – information must be distinct in order to be useful. - it can easily be adopted if it is visually pleasing. In what ways do content of materials viewed and printed sources of information become similar and different from each other? Viewing materials and printed materials have similarities and differences. They are similar because: ➢ both have genres; ➢ both contain themes and topics; ➢ both provide meaningful information; Viewing materials and printed materials have similarities and differences. They are similar because: ➢ both teach lessons; and ➢ both may tell or narrate a story, discuss, feature, persuade, and inform people about a certain topic. Read, watch and observe this TV, radio or printed advertisements of two familiar fast food chains you are familiar with. Using a Venn diagram, note down their similarities and differences. Then write a paragraph explaining the content of the said diagram. Do this in your notebook. Be guided by the rubric below. WATCH THE ADVERTISEMENT OF JOLLIBEE AND MC DONALDS Compare and contrast print media from broadcast media according to their contents or examples using the Venn Diagram.
