INTRODUCTION
This project presents a comprehensive analysis and design of an I-shaped civil
engineering department building.
The study encompasses structural considerations, architectural features and
functional requirements.
The aim is to optimize the buildings form and function, ensuring efficiency,
sustainability and safety in accordance with contemporary engineering
standards and practices.
NEED
To accommodate increasing student enrollment
To improve infrastructure
To enhance research capabilities
OBJECTIVE
To create a structurally sound building design
To optimize space utilization for classrooms and laboratories
To incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient features
To ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards
To promote a conductive learning and research environment
To complete the project within a defined timeline and budget
