Bridge the Divide
Teams have to build a section of a bridge to their customer’s expectations and
specifications, while simultaneously acting as a supplier to another adjacent
team. Managing with limited resources they need to adhere to strict
contractual timelines and overcome communication barriers to build a
structurally sound and stable bridge. Bridges can be creatively designed,
decorated and branded by each team, with awards being given for the most
creative engineering design, best branding, most efficient use of resources etc.
Walk the Talk
If you think you can coordinate and display perfect team coordination, you
need to prove it. This is an activity designed for team coordination, being
dexterous and working together. Perfect for any team that focuses on
coordination, leadership and communication. The teams will build a giant
puppet to be controlled by 5 people at the joints and limbs. Trying to
coordinate the movements of this giant make for a great activity and a lot of
fun while also understanding the complexity of simple tasks and how much of
team work is required to do something that we easily take for granted.

OFFICE OLYMPICS
The event will start off by lighting the torch, with some fun and food. Then, the
employees are divided into teams to participate in the below activities -

Kitchen Challenge:
Players were to eat a jar of baby food that contained chicken, rice, peas, and
carrots. After the jar was finished, the athletes ate a small stack of saltine
crackers. The first person to whistle after eating the crackers won.

Steady hand:
Each racer was timed on how fast they could go up our building’s stairway with
a coffee mug of hot water. If they spilled, 5 seconds would be added to their
time, so being fast and steady was key.

The Corporate Climb

This event works great in any size office building. Have team players complete a
relay-style race up and down the stairs, competing for the best time. Variations
of this game include running up the stairs backwards and/or sideways .
