What is simple present?
• Simple present is used to show daily activity,
and fact. In daily communication we often use
this tenses.
• “SP” is divided into 2 main point. Mainly:
Nominal and Verbal.

Nominal Sentence
• In nominal sentence there are also 2 main
point, mainly: adjective and adverb
where adjective as kata sifat
and adverb as kata keterangan
• Adjective : beautiful, angry, mad, ugly,
starving, pretty, charming, etc
• Adverb : doctor, pilot, here, there, etc
Formula + Example
• She is beautiful girl and she is a doctor
(S + to be + adjective) (S + to be + adverb)

• She isn’t beautiful girl and she isn’t a doctor


(S + to be + not + adjective) (S + to be + not + adverb)

• Is she beautiful girl ? And is she a doctor?

Simple past category
• Simple past is same like simple present, which
has 2 parts, mainly: nominal and verbal.
• Nominal which is the sentence has to be in
the sentence (was (I, he, she, it) and were
(you, we, they))
• Verbal which is the sentence use Verb 2

Hi, my name is Sasha. I am going to have
a long holiday next month. It will be about two

travel to. I am so excited about it. This month we
