Strengths
• It is affordable for the customers
• organic materials- kangkong chips use organic
ingredients and it is highly nutritious snack.
• Healthy Product- Kangkong chips is low at fat
and calories it is also rich in vitamin A, K and C.
• easy to buy- kangkong chips can be found
easily, it can be at sari-sari stores or to the
public market.
•easy to prepare
• create a good partnership to kangkong farmers
Weakness
• Not well known-
z Kangkong chips is still a starting product and
not so popular product, so it still doesn't have a loyal customers.
Opportunities
• It can be a good "pasalubong" to every tourist visiting our
municipality.
• It can be good to kangkong famers because we can build
partnership to them and give opportunities to those who sell
kangkong.
• Promote Asian cuisine which can attract more customers
at a wide range of place
• It can increase the demand of vegetable-based snacks
especially kangkong chip because we are making a new trend
regarding healthy snacks.

Distribution strategy
On distributing the product, the main transportation I
a tricycle. The distribution will be first focus at the
sari-sari stores at our baranggay (naguirangan,
Nadsaag, dinanum, taboc and soon will expand its
distribution at the convenience store at the public
market when the people at our baranggay
acknowledge our product. Those are the places of
distribution to have a easily access where people can
easily see and buy our product.

Opportunities
• It can be a good "pasalubong" to every tourist

who sell kangkong.

Threats

• competition from other vegetable-based snacks
especially the potato chips and kamote chips, also the
traditional banana chips
• Sides effects to customers health by consuming
more kangkong chips or some health problems concerns
with the other ingredients we use on production of
kangkong chips
• possible not consistent on supplying good quality
of kangkong because of some environmental problems, it
may have a big affect to production and sakes of the
product.

Potential Risk
Flood
The location of the stock area was located near at a
river, apparently it was prone at flood, at risk was the
facility itself and the materials/ingredients there. To
avoid having big damage and loss, the owner tend to
place the materials at a higher place. If the flood is
higher than the normal, there is a another stock area
and production place where in the materials/
ingredients and equipment can be move.
Not consistent supply of Kangkong. The

supplier might not give the needed


supply because of different
circumstances. If that happens we can
pull/get some kangkong to our second
supplier, to Mr. Oligo. And if that also fail,
we can pull/buy some kangkong at the
public market place.

Kangkong Chips
INGREDIENTS:
- Kangkong leaves
- Egg
- Oil
- Cornstarch
- Colorless Soda
- Cayenne Pepper
- Salt
Instructions
z

Clean kangkong Thoroughly, then Remove


leaves from stem set aside. For the batter
combine cornstarch, flour, egg, salt, and
water after that, In a clean Mixing bowl mix it
Until the consistency is Smooth. Next, Heat
oil and reduce Fire to Medium, after that, dip
kangkong leaves in batter and deep fry until
crispy. Drain oil from kangkong leaves then
it’s ready to serve
