King's academic year runs from the


last Monday in September to the first
Friday in June. Different faculties and
departments use different academic
term structures. For example, the
academic year of the School of
Mathematics and the Faculty of
Military Studies is divided into three
semesters (fall, spring and summer
semester); the academic year in the
Faculty of Arts and Humanities lasts
two semesters
Leisure time!
In their free time, students can
enjoy a variety of leisure
activities by joining one of 114
clubs depending on their
interests, or go in for sports.
The University has all the
facilities for this: three sports
grounds, a hockey pitch, rugby,
cricket, tennis, two gyms and a
swimming pool.
King's libraries are located across campuses. The
collections include over a million print books, as
well as thousands of journals and electronic
resources.
King's dormitory
The college provides all first-year students with accommodation in
the student residence. They live in rooms of 2. Later students rent
apartments in the city. Students can apply to the University of
London Housing Services and find a suitable place to stay.
