Significance of the
Study
To identify core parenting knowledge, attitudes,
and practices that are associated with positive
parent-child interactions and the healthy
development of teen ages birth to 12-18.
Statement of the Problem

There are so many children that is getting involved in


immoral activities.
The study intends to identify the factors which influence a child’s
attitude and morals. Specifically, it sought to answer the following
questions.

1. How children influnce by their parents/friends


2. Do parents affect their children’s behaviour?
o Age;
o Gender;
3. How does bad parenting affect a teen?

Framework of the Study

Review related literature

Regarding how core parenting knowledge, attitudes, and


practices may differ by specific characteristics of
children and parents, as well as by context. Children
need care that promotes positive emotional health and
well-being and that supports their overall mental health,
including a positive sense of self, as well as the ability
to cope with stressful situations, temper emotional
arousal, overcome fears, and accept disappointments and
frustrations.
Theoretical Framework
The main factors of which influence a child's attitude and
morals seeks of what are the reasons why their children
attitude or morals is getting rebellious or changed. There is a
saying that "knowledge is power" the more you know what
is the reason is the more you understand the situation, it is
believed that the more you know the more you are aware of
what is happening and you know how to deal with it.
Conceptual framework

Immoral, not in conformity with accepted principles of right


and wrong behavior, they make decisions that purposely
violate a moral agreement.
Negative attitude, is a disposition, feeling, or manner that is
not constructive, cooperative, or optimistic. It can affect
anyone, just about anywhere. For some of us.

Chapter 3
Methodology

 This chapter presents the research design used in attaining


the objectives and which served as a guide in order to have
a systematic step in the conduct of the study. It also
presents a detailed description of the methods of research,
the respondents of the study, the data gathering
instruments, the data gathering procedures and the
statistical treatment in analyzing the data gathered.
Research Design
 The descriptive survey method of research was used
which involves the collection of data through a
questionnaire in order to know the main factors that
which influence a child attitude and morals in their home
or outside their resident.
 The survey was distributed and answered with ample
time, after which was consolidated, analyzed and
interpreted for information on the relation of age, gender,
status, highest educational attainment, number of person
living in the nearby barangay.
Research Instrument
 The data was gathered through the use of questionnaire
designed to find out the factors which influence a child’s
attitude and morals.
Data Analysis
The liker’s Five Point Scale was used in the questionnaires to
determine how does bad parenting affect a child attitude as follows: 5-
Very Strongly Agree, 4- Strongly Agree, 3- Agree, 2- Disagree, 1-
Strongly Disagree.
For interpretation of the results under this part, a hypothetical mean
range, descriptive value and interpretation was assigned as follows:
