PHYSICAL EDUCATION
An integral part of the general education
designed to promote the desired level of
fitness through participation as well
selected activities.
Physical Education (PE) develops the skills,
knowledge, values and attitudes needed for
establishing and enjoying an active and
healthy lifestyle, as well as building student
confidence and competence in facing
challenges as individuals and in groups or
teams, through a wide range of learning

Scientifically a person is said to be physical fit if he can possesses the
strength and stamina to carry out his tasks without undue fatigue and
still has enough energy to enjoy leisure and to cope with unforeseen
emergencies.

Physical fitness is considered as a measure of the body’s


ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and
leisure activities, to healthy, to resist hypo kinetic diseases, and
to respond to emergency situations.
