Title: THE DAY I GOT LOST AT THE SHOPS! (Taylah Rae, Grade 4)

First, we were all happy getting all of the groceries until I stopped to look at something that
looked wonderful. By then, the family was already far ahead. Then, I went to try and find
them but I couldn’t because I had never been to that shop before.
In the end, we went home and I was taught that if I ever get lost at the shopping centre, I
must go to the front desk. Once they know I am gone, that’s were they will be. What an
experience for me!
Soon, my family noticed I was gone so they ran to the information counter and put a
message on the microphone. “Taylah, would you please come to the counter? Mum and Dad
are looking for you. I cried out of relief when I finally saw my family there waiting for me.
On Saturday, 21st December 2019, I was going to the shops with my Mum, Dad and my three
brothers Mason, Jayden and Bailey. We were on cloud nine and behaving well because our
dad said if we behaved we would get a chocolate.
