Participle – is a verbal acting as an adjective that modifies either a noun or a pronoun.

Example:
The man holding the ball is Josh Yap. (holding the ball modifies man)
The monkey threw food at teenagers, provoked by their actions. (provoked by their
actions modifies teenagers)
PARTICIPLE:
