• Introduction: The India International Trade Fair is a major event for the business community. It is a premier event organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization, the nodal trade promotion agency of the Government of India. The event is held between 14–27 November every year at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. • Number of tourist: In 2019, the fair was visited by more than 2 million general visitors and 2,75,000 business visitors including 91 delegations from 53 countries. In 2020, the fair was cancelled due to ongoing covid-19 pandemic. • In 2015, it fair attracted 18 lakh visitors including 55 foreign delegates and 400 business visitors from 48 countries. • Details for 2021

For all visitors during public days (November 19-27, 2019), ticket charges will be Rs 60 (adult) and Rs 40 (child) on working days and on Saturday/Sunday/public holiday the tickets will be Rs 120 (adult) and Rs 60 (child). • Facilities and significance : 1. This annual event provides a common platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers. The fair displays comprises a wide range of products and services including automobiles, coir products, jute, textiles, garments, household appliances, kitchen appliances, processed food, beverages, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, body care & health care products, telecommunication, power sector, electronic sector, furniture, home furnishings, sporting goods, toys, and engineering goods. 2. One gets an idea about the new products about to launch in the near. future. It also gives good business ideas to improve your current business. 3. Each year, the fair has a different theme. Due to having different themes, it always keeps the visitors interested in the fair. 4. A remarkable feature of this multi-product exhibition is that it offers an equal opportunity for large corporations, MSMEs, non-government agencies, artisans, self-help groups (SHGs) to promote their products and services to a very large sample of potential customers 5. the fair acts as an important platform for various central and state government departments and agencies for dissemination of information on progressive reforms, new schemes and initiatives. 6. Myriads of Stalls: One can find these stalls of different states of India representing their heritage. Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana are some of the prominent pavilions where the crowd can mostly be seen. 2.
