9. CONCLUSION
The main object of the topic on kinematics of fluid flows to
introduce various aspects of fluid motion without being concerned
with the actual forces necessary to produce the motion. The other
object of this topic are to introduce the kinematic of the motion the
velocity and acceleration of the fluid the description and
visualization without considering the force.
 kinematics of the motion-The velocity and acceleration of the
fluid and the description and visualization (force is not consider)
 preliminary to fluid dynamics
 understanding of the fluid motion through kinematics
The fluid flow is taking place due to various forces. But when we
consider the fluid motion here in this kinematics of fluid flow
consider the forces as such but without considering the force what
happens to a fluid or how the fluid is moving how the velocity can be
calculated how the acceleration can be calculated, we will go to the
various the principles of fluid mechanics like consideration of mass
consideration of momentum based up on the fluid kinematics.
Examples:

THEY ARE OF TWO WAYS TO DESCRIBE FLUID FLOW :

1) LAGRANGIAN DESCRIPTION

2) EULERIAN DESCRIPTION
1)FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL FLUID PARTICLES AS THEY
MOVE AND DETERMINIING HOW THE FLUID PROPERTIES
ASSOCIATED WITH THESES PARTICLES CHANGE AS A
FUNCTION OF TIME.
2)THE FLUID PARTICLES ARE "TAGGED" OR IDENTIFIED.
1)USES THE FIELD CONCEPT
2)FLUID MOTION IS GIVEN BY COMPLETELY PRESCRIBING
THE NESCESSARY PROPERTIES SUCH AS
PRESSURE,DENSITY,VELOCITY,ETC. AS FUNCTIONS OF
SPACE AND TIME.
TYPES OF FLUID FLOW:
1.STEADY AND UNSTEADY FLOW
2.UNIFORM AND NON UNIFORM FLOW
3.1,2,3,DIMENSIONAL FLOW
4.ROTATIONAL AND IRROTATIONAL FLOW
5.LAMINAR AND TURBULANT FLOW
6.COMPRESSIBLE AND INCOMPRESSIBLE FLOW
1) Objective of the topic i.e., kinematics of fluid flow is to introduce
various aspects of fluid motion without being concerned with the
actual forces necessary to produce the motion.

2) Fluid flow taking place due to various forces.

3) Two ways to describe fluid flow

a) Lagrangian description
b) Eulerian description

4) Eulerian description-only the particles inside the container is

observed
5) Lagrangian description-consider the fluid particles flowing in apipe or
river w.r.t time

6) Different types of fluid flow: steady and unsteady flow, uniform and
non-uniform flow, 1.2.3 dimensional flow, rotational and irrotational
flow, laminar and turbulant flow, compressible and incompressible
flow.

7) Discussion of fluid flow in 1,2 and 3 dimension.
