Different models of IR sensors for
easyTEMP
• Part N. ET-MAXI (p/n IRT0500)
(it can be used only for MAXI44)

• Part N. ET-SK15 (p/n IRT0300B)

(IRT0300B can be used for SK15eT / MAXI44)
Service Maintenance and

Calibration:
What a blackbody is and why it is
needed for calibrating an IR sensor?
• A blackbody device is a body with theoretical
emissivity factor 1 absorbing the full
wavelength spectrum
• The most common blackbodies used for
calibration purpose are based on a heating
surface covered with special pigmented paint
• Using blackbody for calibrating an infrared
sensor we can be sure that the only emitted
infrared energy is the one generated by the
blackbody temperature
The Milestone blackbody calibration
tool kit p/n CAL001

Kit contain:

• Blackbody device
• Cavity positioning supports
• Calibration certificate
• Transport case with protective
foam
The Blackbody device:
