MEETING IN THE DARK Micah Marie Mission

SUMMARY
John, a young Kenyan man, has impregnated a native
girl called Wamuhu. Whilst John comes from a well
educated Christian family Wamuhu's family lives in a
traditional manner. John now has to decide: Will he
marry Wamuhu and face his strict father? Or leave
Wamuhu and the child to pursue his Western education ?
Conflicted, the situation escalates into a confrontation
between John and Wamuhu in the dark a rush of
insanity, John kills Wamuhu.

IS JOHN A COWARD AND MURDERER OR VICTIM
OF CIRCUMSTANCES?
PLOT
 John is respected and looked up man to by those in his
community because he represents a “true African son.” He
has achieved this status by successfully completing every
available level of education—and he plans on leaving the
country to study more.
 John is in a relationship with a native girl name
Wamuhu.
RISING ACTION
 John found out that Wamuhu got pregnant.
CLIMAX
 John has to decided between pursuing his studies
to Uganda or stay with Wamuhu.
FALLING ACTION
 John’s solution is to keep quite of Wamuhu’s pregnancy.
RESOLUTION
 Wamuhu and her child got murdered by John.
The final line of the story is “… he had created and kill
then.”
