The best approach to the mountain is from the village of Naga Linga,
which is just 15 minutes from Merek and at an elevation of 1,500m
which means less than 1,000m ascent to the peak.

of nature which is owned by Indonesia, and fortunately Indonesia have like
this, because there are only two in the World. Baths Soda can only be found in
the village Parbubu Tarutung Sumatra Utara, Indonesia and another in the area
of Venezuela.
Istana Maimun
Construction of this palace began on August 26, 1888 and was completed on
May 18, 1891. Maimun Palace became a tourist destination only because of
its old age, but also its unique interior design, combining elements of Malay,
Islamic, Spanish, Indian and Italian styles.
Great Mosque Of Medan
Tangkahan is a tourist site situated on
the edge of the Gunung Leuser
national park, around 20km due north
from Bukit Lawang.
Lauser Mountain National Park
Mount Leuser (3,119 m) is the third-highest peak on the
Leuser Range. The highest peak is Mount No Name (3,466
m), the second-highest peak in Sumatra after Mount Kerinci
(3,805 m)
