Traditional Clothes Of North Sumatra (Mandailing)

This Batak tribe lives in the Mandailing Natal District, South Tapanuli, and
Padang Lawas Regency, and its surroundings. According to the beliefs of the
people around Mandailing is the influence brought by the Padri from Minangkabau
in Tanah Datar and much influenced by Islamic culture.

Mandailing Traditional Clothing is not much different from the Toba Batak
traditional clothing suit that uses ulos cloth and attractive accessories. It's just that
Mandailing's traditional clothing is dominated by red clothes with a touch of elegant
gold accents and gives an interesting ethnic impression

In Indonesian, bulung gadung means cassava leaves. Here the method of


processing is cassava leaves pounded until smooth with spices such as onions,
turmeric, ginger and others. Then add coconut milk. It tastes delicious and makes

Endeng-Endeng Dance is a traditional dance originating from South


Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. This Endeng-Endeng dance illustrates
