Pamamaraan:
Ilagay sa mesa ang mga simulang titik ng pangalan
ng bawat bata ng buong klase.
Papiliin ang bawat bata ng simulang titik ng
kanyang pangalan.
Sasabihin: Ang pangalan ko ay ______.
Ang unang titik ng pangalan ko ay ______.
Ito ay may tunog na _______.
Ito ay may _____ na titik.
Ipabakat ang simulang titik ng kanilang pangalan sa
worksheet na inihanda ng guro.
Kasanayan: Nakikilala ang mga titik

2. Socio-emotional
Materials: photos of each child (children can bring them from
home, or you can use an instant camera in class), a colorful
bag/box
Who Am I? (2nd week)
Procedure:
Tell the children, We are going to play a guessing game
with all of our new friends. Invite child to reach in the
bag/box and pull out a picture. Ask, Who am I? The
child says the classmates name and points to that
child.
Encourage the child in the photo to talk about what is
happening in the picture. If the pictures are from the
classroom, ask the child to name where the picture was
taken and what part of the class day it was.
That child picks a photo next.

1. Sensory Perceptual
Ibat Ibang Kulay
Kagamitan: kulay asul at dilaw na watercolor, papel, straw
Pamamaraan:
Pahanapin ang mga bata ng ibat ibang kulay sa silid
aralan. Ipaturo ang bagay at ipasabi ang pangalan ng
kulay na taglay nito.
Sabihin sa mga bata na maglalaro sila ng kulay na
sumasabog. Sabihin din na lilikha sila ng kulay mula sa
dalawang kulay.
Patuluan ng kulay asul at dilaw ang papel ng bawat bata.
Bigyan sila ng straw at sabihing hipan nila ang dalawang
kulay hanggang sa magkahalo at sumabog ito.
Magkakaroon ng panibagong kulay ang bahagi ng asul at
dilaw na magkahalo. Ipasabi sa mga bata kung anong
kulay ito.
Kasanayan: Nakikilala ang ibat ibang kulay
2. Motor/Creative
Paglilimbag Ng Mga Patapong Bagay
Kagamitan: mga patapong bagay tulad ng
tansan, hinati na mga gulay: okra,
kalamansi, kamatis, palapa ng saging
Pamamaraan:
Ipagamit nag mga patapong gamit sa paglilimbang.
Ilubog sa pinta ang hinating gulay/bagay. Pintahan ng
isang dulo nito sa pamamagitan ng brotsa.
Idiin ang dulong may pinta sa papel. Ulit-ulitin ang
paglimbang para magkaroon ng kawili-wiling dibuho.
Kasanayan: Naipakikita ang pagkamalikhain ng ibat
ibang materyales at pamamaraan sa sining.
Dancing Leaves
Directions:
Take the class outside the classroom.
Let pupils collect leaves of different sizes.
When inside the classroom, pupils trace the leaves on
a cardboard, color then cut
Play a Show Me game.
Show me a big leaf.
Show me a small leaf.
Hang the cut leaves to make mobiles (or other
decorative ideas)
Skill: Compare and differentiate objects according to size.
3. Numeracy
Big Foot
Directions:
Let the children measure the width
of the room by using their feet.
Ask the children to count how many foot-size
it will take to measure the width of the room.
The teacher will then lead the children to
realize that the child with the least number of
foot-size owns the Big foot!
The child with the most number of foot-size
owns the Small foot!
Add-on activity:
Children trace ones foot, cut out the
traced figure, write their names(for
ownership) and paste it on cartolina
to be posted in one of the corners of
the room.
