1. PLANNING INFORMATION
A. EFFECTIVITY
Part I
All A109S helicopters equipped with one of the following torque tube assemblies:
P/N 109-0210-02-1;
P/N 109-0210-02-5;
P/N 109-0210-02-7;
P/N 109-0210-02-109;
P/N 109-0210-02-111.
NOTE
In case the two sleeves have different debonding
values, refer to the highest recorded debonding value.
Part II
All A109S helicopters compliant with Part I with at least one of the sleeves having a
debonding value higher than 50% and lower or equal to 85%.
Part III
All A109S helicopters compliant with Part I with at least one of the sleeves having a
debonding value higher than 85% and lower or equal to 95%.
Part IV
All A109S helicopters compliant with Part I with at least one of the sleeves having a
debonding value higher than 95%.
B. COMPLIANCE
NOTE
Following the application of this Service Bulletin, refer to
AMPI Chapter 5, Task 55-01 in order to perform the
subsequent inspections every 800FH.
Part I
Within and not later than 50 flight hours after the issue of this Service Bulletin.
Part II
Within and not later than 800 flight hours after the application of the Part I.
Part III
Within and not later than 200 flight hours after the application of the Part I.
Part IV
Within and not later than 100 flight hours after the application of the Part I.
D. REASON
This Service Bulletin is issued in order to perform a tap test inspection of the two
sleeves installed on the torque tube assy to identify possible de-bonded surfaces.
E. DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to prescribe a tap test inspection of the sleeves
installed on the torque tube assy in order to map the level of debonding of the sleeve
and, if necessary, to replace the torque tube assy within the relative compliance time.
The torque tube assy applicable for the tap-test are the following:
P/N 109-0210-02-1;
P/N 109-0210-02-5;
P/N 109-0210-02-7;
P/N 109-0210-02-109;
P/N 109-0210-02-111.
F. APPROVAL
The technical content of this Service Bulletin is approved under the authority of DOA
nr. EASA.21.J.005. For helicopters registered under other Aviation Authorities, before
applying the Service Bulletin, applicable Aviation Authority approval must be checked
within Local Aviation Authority.
EASA states mandatory compliance with inspections, modifications or technical
directives and related time of compliance by means of relevant Airworthiness
Directives.
If an aircraft listed in the effectivity embodies a modification or repair not LH certified
and affecting the content of this Service Bulletin, it is responsibility of the
Owner/Operator to obtain a formal approval by Aviation Authority having jurisdiction on
the aircraft, for any adaptation necessary before incorporation of the present Service
Bulletin.

NOTES
(1) If replacement is necessary, order only the same torque tube assy P/N as the
replaced one.

referenced in the accomplishment instructions.
GENERAL NOTES
a) Place an identification tag on all components that
are re-usable, including the attaching hardware that
has been removed to gain access to the modification
area and adequately protect them until their later re-
use.
b) All lengths are in mm.
PART I
1. In accordance with AMP DM 0B-A-00-20-00-00A-120A-A, prepare the helicopter on
ground for a safe maintenance. Disconnect the battery, all electrical power sources and/or
the external power supply.

The torque tube assemblies applicable and referred in
this procedure are the following:
